About this trip

SKY TING is pleased to bring back Abby Paloma’s Restorative Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training this Winter! More and more students are taking an interest in Restorative Yoga, a healing practice for stressful times. Abby Paloma has skillfully trained hundreds of teachers in the art of Restorative Yoga. This training will be an in-depth exploration of the tools and techniques of the practice.

Restorative Yoga offers therapeutic tools to balance the nervous system in order to truly rest and replenish energy. States of deep mind and body relaxation are made more accessible through the architecture of restorative poses. Health benefits of a consistent restorative practice include lowered blood pressure and blood sugar levels, reduced insomnia, balanced menstruation, improved digestion, and increased fertility.

This training is open to yoga teachers, health practitioners, and dedicated students. After this training you will be able to skillfully offer your students and private clients a potent and medicinal practice of relaxation. You will be equipped with knowledge of how to incorporate restorative poses into your own practice and your regular asana classes. Restorative Yoga is a gift for yourself and if you're a teacher, a gift for your students. When people partake in this peaceful practice, the whole world stands to benefit.

SKY TING was created for anyone looking for tools and techniques to handle life more gracefully and see the magic in a long life lived. We offer a practice that refines our ability to stay connected, be well-adjusted, develop greater consciousness, discover radiance, use life to our own advantage, and ultimately experience more JOY! SKY TING YOGA is medley of lineages. All styles of yoga have something different to offer, and cross-pollinating yogic material allows us to create a method wholly new and unique, yet refined with rich substance and history. Our teachers are encouraged to blend the yoga material they practice, identify most with, and believe in, rather than sticking to the prescribed, generic curriculum. This ideology creates a passionate, responsive and nurturing learning experience for our students. Our goal is to make the practice safe and approachable for anyone, while keeping the magic of yoga alive. (212) 203-5786 INFO@SKYTINGYOGA.COM @SKYTINGYOGA

Wonderful trip, start to finish. Francesca and Lulu brought expertise and authenticity to their teaching and leading of this group. They were fantastic hosts and navigated the varied personalities, interests, and experience levels of the group members beautifully - they also handled unexpected circumstances (such as a bout with food poisoning!) brilliantly. i would definitely do another SkyTing retreat with them if given the opportunity - they clearly care deeply for one another and for their students.

Another amazing retreat! Pocna was a lovely resort, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The yoga was exactly what my mind, body, and spirit needed. Lulu and Francesca were *chef's kiss*! The only thing that would make these trips better would be included transportation from the airport to the hotel.

Francesca and Lulu created a magical experience for us on this trip. They poured their heart and soul into the yoga classes and music and dance and making the whole week just so playful and fun. We also lucked out by having an incredible group of women who were a blast to hang out with, and an unbeatably beautiful beach to enjoy during a full moon. Overall - 10/10 and would go back. ✌️🥰

Lulu and Francesca were amazing! Had a wonderful time with a great group of people. The food at Pocna was very good too. Great variety of classes too, that were just the right amount of challenging and fun! Would highly recommend! Thank you Sky Ting, Pocna, Lulu, and Francesa!

Skyting is a beautiful and well-kept studio. It was such a pleasure to meet Josie who is equal parts other-worldly and approachable, it was a joy to learn from her! The one thing I will say is that I could have done with less posture labs and more lecture/discussion around the theory.
