2. A mandatory Climate Resilience Tax of €50.00 (€10.00 per night, per room) applies during the summer season. This fee is not included in the package price and must be paid directly to the hotel by the guest.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

1. Deposits are nonrefundable. Authentic Horizons Travel, LLC has negotiated special pricing with vendors that will not allow us to obtain refunds. This allows us to keep packages low and allow you to make monthly payments on your trip.

2. Reservations made after the deposit deadline are subject to room availability.

3. Each couple must submit the required deposit to reserve their room.

4. Prices are quoted per couple. Every individual included on the reservation and participating in the trip must be registered and pay the published package price.

5. Payments are invoiced through WeTravel, a secure payment processing system designed specifically for travelers and travel professionals. Payment reminders will be sent to the email address provided during registration.

6. After submitting your reservation, you will receive a Travel Terms & Conditions Agreement and a Credit Card Authorization Form. These documents must be completed, signed, and returned before your reservation can be finalized.

7. If you need to make changes to your reservation, please email us at info@authentichorizons.com. We are committed to making your experience as seamless as possible. We understand that plans can change, so please notify us promptly if you need to adjust your payment due date.

8. Participation in the exclusive group experiences may only be purchased through the group organizers. Experience packages are not available à la carte, and only registered guests are permitted to participate in private group activities.

9. Packages are subject to limited availability. If your preferred package is no longer available, please contact us directly. We'll be happy to explore whether accommodations or alternative arrangements can be made based on availability.

It's crucial to thoroughly review your package details to make the most informed decisions and understand our Terms and Policies.

1.  Making reservations for this package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Policies.

2.  Deposits to Authentic Horizons, LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable.  This is a significant commitment, so we advise you to purchase a Travel Insurance Plan to protect your investment. 

A 'CANCEL FOR ANY REASON' Insurance policy is the most comprehensive plan and must be purchased within 7 to 14 days of making your deposit.   Most insurance plans can be purchased up to final payment or in some cases 24-hrs prior to travel.  Be prepared for the unexpected, such as the global shutdown due to COVID-19.  

3.  It's essential to make reservations in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport. This will help avoid any issues during your travel.  

4.  The payment schedule is required to keep your reservation current.  Monthly automatic payments will be processed to your preferred credit/debit card that you register with.  Our payment processing system is secured and encrypted for your safety and security. 

5.  If sharing a room with a roommate, choose your roommate wisely.  You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments.  NOTE:  Should your roommate cancel, we will update your reservation to a "Single Supplement" room rate.  You will have an opportunity to add a new roommate if you desire. 

6. You can log onto WeTravel 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to review your account.  Name corrections or changes after final payment will incur a $100.00 change fee plus any fees incurred by the supplier/vendor.  

7. All late payment requests must be approved by management. Failed or missed payments without prior authorization and accounts that are not current will be charged a $50.00 per person late fee for each incident. 

8.  Authentic Horizons LLC reserves the right to cancel any reservation with an outstanding past-due payment amount.  Accounts that are past due by two payments will be automatically canceled.  

9.  Cancelled reservations will incur a $100.00 (per person) processing fee to reinstate the booking. Canceled reservations are non-refundable.  Travel protection or travel insurance is highly recommended. 

10. Add-ons marked with an asterisk (*) are offered and fulfilled directly by the hotel and are not services provided by Authentic Horizons Travel, LLC. Authentic Horizons Travel is not responsible or liable for the availability, fulfillment, changes, cancellations, refunds, or service issues related to these add-ons. We will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers with hotel-related concerns; however, the hotel remains solely responsible for its services and resolution of any issues.

If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that plans can change when we least expect them. Illness, family emergencies, flight disruptions, severe weather, and other unexpected circumstances can happen before or during your trip.

Missing a vacation is disappointing. Losing the money you invested in that vacation can make it even worse.

For this reason, Authentic Horizons Travel strongly recommends that every traveler purchase travel insurance for both domestic and international travel.

Depending on the policy selected, travel insurance may provide coverage for:

Consider Cancel For Any Reason Coverage

For travelers seeking greater flexibility, consider a policy that includes Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage. CFAR typically provides broader cancellation flexibility than standard travel insurance; however, it may not reimburse 100% of your trip cost and is subject to the specific terms, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and exclusions of the policy.

Timing is especially important. Many CFAR policies must be purchased within a limited number of days after your initial trip deposit or payment. Do not wait until your final payment date to consider coverage.

Please carefully review the policy details before purchasing to ensure you understand what is—and is not—covered.

Does Your Credit Card Include Travel Protection?

Before purchasing a separate policy, we also recommend checking with your credit card company, particularly if you are using the card to pay for your trip.

Some credit cards include travel-related benefits when eligible travel expenses are charged to the card. Depending on the card, benefits may include trip cancellation or interruption, baggage protection, travel delay benefits, or other coverage.

Do not assume that using a credit card automatically provides adequate travel insurance. Contact your credit card company directly to confirm what coverage is included, the requirements for activating those benefits, coverage limits, exclusions, and whether the protection is sufficient for your particular trip.

Travel between the United States and Greece can take 13 or more hours each way, depending on your departure city, airline, and flight itinerary. Please carefully review your flight departure and arrival dates and times when making your travel arrangements to ensure you arrive in Santorini in time for the start of the itinerary and depart on the appropriate date at the conclusion of the trip.

Guests are solely responsible for booking flights that align with the scheduled trip dates. Authentic Horizons Travel is not responsible for costs or disruptions resulting from delayed, missed, or incorrectly scheduled flights. No refunds, credits, or reimbursements will be issued for missed activities, accommodations, transfers, or other package inclusions due to late arrivals, early departures, missed departures, or flight schedule changes beyond our control.
