Had an amazing time. The retreat grounds themselves were beautiful. There were a couple different swimming pools to wade in, lots of hammocks to lie in, and a farm that produced delicious plums (which I could not quite find). The teaching by Kino and Tim were amazing - in fact, Tim helped me with a difficult pose, and I ended up reaching a new milestone in my ashtanga journey! And finally, the food was absolutely amazing. It was incredibly healthy, with that fresh-from-the-farm taste. Lots of scrambled eggs, cheese, muesli, fresh fruits, salads, homemade pasta, various vegetarian dishes, and always a nice dessert to satisfy the sweet tooth. Plenty of coffee and tea. Even though I'm not vegetarian, I did not once crave protein, so whatever they made, they found a way to pack in protein. I could eat as much as I want, got full, and stayed full. It was like a slice of heaven. My recommendation is to bring plenty of books and rent a car so you can tour the island.

It was just perfect. Nice location, delicious food and the nicest people.

This was a delightful trip. The homes, grounds, and accommodations are beautiful. Pilar and the staff are so accommodating and kind, ready to assist our every need. This is my second year attending a Balearic Retreat and I will be back for more. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and fun adventures.

This was the most expensive yoga retreat that I have ever booked! So my expectations were pretty high. The Mysore classes with Kino and Tim were great- I would have appreciated it if we had some yoga drills in the afternoon instead of the usual workshops. The Yogaroom is very spacious and fully equipped. For this prize I expected a better bed, good products in the shower and something like a cupboard to put a shampoo on. Also the wifi is too weak to make it into the rooms. The chef was very nice and took care of all the many needs of the participants. Still I would have appreciated some more hot meals and less salad. Also the desserts could have been better- there are so many wunderful things to bake or make that are vegan and gluten-free. I had a wonderful time with all these really nice participants and enjoyed the yoga classes a lot.

I would never do this retreat again. The villa was beautiful and the yoga was good, but the lack of proper communication from the host of the retreat was not worth the better parts of the retreat. Before I arrived at the retreat, it was very difficult to get a response when I asked a question via WhatsApp or email and I should have taken this as a red flag. It took 14 days for me to get a response to 1 question I asked the host and I even emailed them again after 9 days of not receiving a response. I recommend getting your questions answered before you pay for the retreat. Many students on my trip were unsatisfied with their rooms when they arrived so I suggest you ask for pictures before you pay since there are no pictures provided on the website. When I got to the retreat, many more problems came up. One common issue that came up throughout the whole week was the gate to the “main” villa (where we had classes and meals) would often get stuck and you couldn’t get in or out of the property. This was especially frustrating on the final day when I stopped at the main villa to get breakfast and pick someone up to go to the airport. The gate was stuck on my way in and again on my way out which was stressful, not knowing when it would open so I could make it to my flight on time. I informed the host both times the gate was stuck, but I feel this shouldn’t have been an issue, especially on the last day, because it was a known issue throughout the whole week that could have been fixed permanently by the day most of us had to leave for the airport. Also, one day, 3 staff people went through my room to fix/look at something and I was not informed ahead of time about this. Our bed sheets were never changed during the trip and it was very hot with no air conditioning. Another thing that was promised on the website of the retreat was “welcome presents” which we never got during the retreat. A student asked about it in our WhatsApp group chat on our last full day and they didn’t get a response, so I replied to their message and asked about it and included a screenshot of where it was promised on the website along with a link to the website itself. When the host did reply, I found their response to be insensitive and rude of where all of the guests were coming from. They said they did not have enough gifts for everyone and that we got “quite a lot” with a dinner and a boat trip. I feel as though the host should have properly communicated with the group about the issue with the welcome presents and if there was supposed to be an alternative to the welcome presents, that should have been communicated as well. There are 2 villas where students stay and have activities and we never got a map or tour of all of the facilities so people would be confused as to where classes and massages were located. In all, I feel that the host lacked empathy for the guests that traveled long distances to Mallorca for the retreat and failed to understand our perspectives when we would try to explain them. There was only 1 host for us to communicate with and I ended up feeling uncomfortable in relying on them or trusting them with anything significant. Having to deal with this host was the one downside to an otherwise good trip. There are other beautiful locations to practice yoga with wonderful yoga teachers.

I went to the yoga retreat 2021 and omg It was so nice arranged I can't believe how well Pilar did this with the amazing teacher Laruga. I highly recommend this even if beginner as they take care of you from scratch and all you really need is a positive mind and willingness to learn and you are to have the time of your life!!!
