Return to Heart is an intimate three day, two-night retreat created by Grace & Laura, held over Valentine’s weekend at the beautiful SOMA in Byron Bay.
Think of it as a love letter to yourself.
A chance to step away from the pace and noise of everyday life and spend a weekend moving, breathing, resting, sharing, laughing and reconnecting, with yourself and with a beautiful group of women.
Across the weekend, we’ll move between energising Pilates, slower restorative practices, meditation, breathwork, sound, nourishing food, workshops, time in nature and plenty of space to simply be.
Some moments will invite you inward. Others will be about connection, conversation and having fun together.
There is no pressure to become a new version of yourself here.
The invitation is simply to come back to the person already underneath it all.
To your body.
To your intuition.
To your own rhythm.
To the things that make you feel most like you.
A return to self. A return to connection. A return to heart.
Over three days and two nights, Return to Heart will unfold slowly across the beautiful surroundings of Soma Byron Bay.
Mornings begin intentionally - with tea, meditation, breath and movement.
Days are filled with Pilates, nourishing meals, workshops, restorative practices and time to explore the property, journal, swim, walk, rest or connect with the women around you.
Evenings become softer: sunset dinners, sound, Yin and Yoga Nidra, conversations around the fire and moments designed to bring us together.
We want this weekend to feel considered, but never overly scheduled.
There will be space.
Space to opt in. Space to slow down. Space to have a conversation with someone new. Space to laugh. Space to be quiet. Space to reconnect with what you need.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, connected and hopefully a little more like yourself.
Arrive, settle into your room and take in the surroundings before we come together in the Dome for our opening circle.
We'll move through an uplifting Pilates flow before slowing things down with stretching, breath and meditation.
As the sun goes down, we'll gather for dinner before moving into sound, time around the fire and an evening of conversation and connection.
We begin slowly with a sunrise tea ceremony, breakfast and morning movement.
The day will centre around our Return to Self workshop, alongside plenty of time to journal, explore, rest and connect.
Optional treatments such as acupuncture and massages will be available for anyone wanting a little extra restoration.
We'll come together again for dinner before ending the evening with a deeply restorative practice led by Laura — think Yin, Yoga Nidra, Reiki and sound.
Our final morning begins with meditation, breath and a feel-good Pilates flow.
We'll share one last beautiful breakfast together before gathering for our closing circle — reflecting on the weekend, the connections we've made and what we want to take home with us.
Then there is time for a final swim, walk or hang before saying goodbye.
The itinerary is intentionally fluid and may evolve slightly as we curate the final experience.
Your home for the weekend is Soma Byron Bay, set amongst 22 acres of beautiful hinterland. The property offers an incredible setting to disconnect from everyday life and settle into a slower rhythm, with beautiful accommodation, open spaces and nature surrounding you throughout the weekend.
Movement will sit at the heart of the weekend, with Pilates led by Grace alongside slower, restorative practices guided by Laura. Expect energising, feel-good flows alongside stretching, Yin, Reiki, meditation, breathwork and deep rest. Sessions will be designed to meet you where you are, this isn't about performance or pushing your body. It's about moving in a way that feels good and reconnecting with yourself through movement.
Beautiful, nourishing meals and snacks will be shared throughout the weekend. From slow breakfasts to sunset dinners, food will be another opportunity to gather around the table, connect and enjoy the experience together.
A grounding morning tea ceremony designed to invite stillness, presence and intention into the day.
Across the weekend we'll create moments dedicated entirely to slowing down. Expect practices such as sound, meditation, breathwork, Yin, Yoga Nidra and Reiki woven throughout the retreat.
A thoughtfully curated workshop exploring the theme at the heart of the weekend: returning to yourself. Through practices and conversation around self-awareness, intuition and our individual nature, we'll create space to understand ourselves a little more deeply — and take something meaningful back into everyday life.
Return to Heart is as much about connection as it is about retreating inward. We'll open the weekend together by creating a safe, relaxed space to meet and connect, and close by reflecting on what we've experienced and what we want to carry forward.
Not every moment needs an itinerary. There will be intentional free time to journal, wander the property, swim, rest, read, talk, book an optional treatment — or do absolutely nothing.
We couldn't imagine a more fitting weekend for Return to Heart. But this isn't Valentine's in the traditional sense. It's a weekend celebrating all forms of love — friendship, connection, community and, most importantly, the relationship you have with yourself.
A little love from us to you. Each guest will receive a thoughtfully curated collection of Grace & Laura’s favourite products and rituals to enjoy during the weekend and take home with you.
Travel to and from Soma Byron Bay is not included, allowing you to arrange your journey in whichever way works best for you. We will share further arrival information with guests ahead of the retreat.
We strongly recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance to protect you against unexpected circumstances.
A selection of additional wellness treatments such as massage or acupuncture may be available to book during the retreat at an additional cost. Further details and booking information will be shared once confirmed.
We created Return to Heart because we wanted to make the kind of weekend we both crave ourselves.
A few days away from the noise. Beautiful movement. Long conversations. Good food. Rest. Laughter. New friendships. Space to think and space not to.
We spend so much of our lives looking forward, striving for the next thing or giving our energy to everyone and everything around us.
This weekend is an invitation to bring some of that energy home.
Back to your body.
Back to your intuition.
Back to the people and things that make you feel good.
Back to yourself.
Come exactly as you are.
With love,
Grace & Laura x
