Join Bay Area yoga teachers Lauren Cohen, Leia Layus and Emma Peck for an unforgettable retreat experience in the beauty of Portugal! We will join together for a deeply nourishing, inspiring and rejuvenating week of yoga, meditation and farm to table meals at the magical oasis that is Cocoon. Lauren and Leia will lead daily yoga and meditation classes and Emma will offer sound healing experiences.

Just two hours south of Lisbon, Cocoon Portugal is a 270 acre coastal farm and retreat located on the breathtaking Atlantic coast of Portugal, near the charming fishing village of Zambujeira do Mar, in the Alentejo region, which is known for its long stretches of untouched coastline and charming white-washed villages.

We are so excited to call Cocoon home for a week and to take in the beauty of the farm and its surroundings.

This day with Lauren was SUCH a welcome treat. Lauren is incredibly thoughtful in her programming and I could not think of a better, more delightful way to spend a day.

What a wonderful and rejuvenating day at the Green Gulch Zen Center! Lauren's agenda and pace for the day were a perfect blend of sharing with community, yoga flows, tasty food and relaxing contemplative time on the hiking trail to Muir Beach. Traveling to Portugal for 'Return to the Sacred' with Lauren, Leia, and Emma was the best decision I have ever made. Cocoon is a true paradise where the only thing more nourishing than the organic, farm to table meals was the yoga, meditation, and sound healing. Quiet mornings... Afternoons at the lake, or surfing in the ocean, hiking through canyons to boulder strewn swimming holes or along coastal trails to private beaches.. Three words: Beauty, Laughter, and Gratitude.

What a magical day. The setting was both beautiful and peaceful. The practice location was secluded just enough to create easy and organic connections. As always, Lauren guided us through profound discussions and soulful yoga. The food was also both nourishing and delicious. Its worth mentioning that it was it was easy to fit this into my schedule since it was nearby and only a day long. Overall, the retreat exceeded my expectations and nourished mind, body and soul.
