Join international yoga and meditation teacher and educator, Mary Susan Stults this February 18th, 19th, and 20th in Frisco, Colorado and Summit County for a weekend on the mat together.

Create space to slow down, explore, play, practice, and return home to our own bodies, breath, mind, heart, and spirit. After a very different couple of years, let's come together in community and in practice.

The practices and disciplines of yoga and meditation serve as a heart-awakened path and avenue back home to the self, and to our own inner wellspring of love, compassion, awareness, and wisdom. It's a way of re-remembering and coming back to the truth of our innate wholeness.

This weekend of workshops includes four workshops spanning over three days.

We'll begin with a Friday evening workshop from 5:30-7:30pm, two workshops on Saturday from 1:00-3:30pm and 5:30-8:00pm with a two hour break in between for a bite, refreshment, rest, and some fresh air. We'll end the weekend on Sunday afternoon with a more gentle flow and workshop on Sunday from 12:00-2:00pm.

*In each workshop we'll enjoy an alignment-based slow flow practice before taking some time to workshop various asanas, allowing students to demo and to come see, come look as we explore and break down the subtleties, nuances, lines of energy and energetics, mechanics and alignment, breath, and dynamics of each posture. We'll workshop in a mindful yet playful manner and take time to cool down with a few restorative postures before a long savasana. To end, we'll enjoy a Sunday kind of love and slow flow practice before further slowing down with a few restoratives and a guided meditation.

Each workshop is suitable for all levels from beginner students to teachers and advanced practitioners.

Workshop Details and Focus

Friday's Workshop - Friday Night Live Yoga!

Time: 5:30-7:30pm

"Finding Home - Beauty in the Basics and Blueprint Poses"

In this dynamic, mindful, playful, and sustainable workshop we'll explore all of the beauty of the practice as we return home alongside one another to our body, breath, mind, heart, and spirit.

A deep and beautiful dive back into the basics and foundation of your yoga practice. Returning home to explore the subtleties, nuances, mechanics, energetics, and intricacies of the blueprint poses and to where we began. We will begin to reveal and see how this heart-awakened thread of alignment and prana is so wonderfully carried and woven throughout each and every posture and element that we practice. Together we will workshop, explore more deeply, and lay the blueprint for more ease in our practice!

Saturday's Workshops

Saturday, February 19th -- 1:00-3:30pm

"Finding Home - Foundations for Flight! Preparation for Chaturunga, Healthy Inversions, and Arm Balances with Ease

Get grounded for confidence in chaturunga dandasana, arm balances, and inversions. It's all in the set-up and in how we knowledgeably and gradually prepare for the pose! This workshop is for those wanting to further explore arm balances and inversions and for those who love them. In this yoga workshop we will shift perspective as we take our yoga practice for a journey and adventure in the foundations and preparations for arm balances and inversions.

We will explore poses that will both strengthen and prepare ourselves for flight. Proper and basic shoulder alignment and mechanics will be established and built through simpler poses and carried onward to a modified chaturunga dandasana, full arm balances, and sustainable inversions for all. Students and teachers will be guided through a fluid and challenging sequence that will prepare the foundation necessary to practice these poses with ease and freedom.

Saturday, February 19th -- 5:30-8:00pm

"Finding Home - Yin and Yang

Forward Bends, Twists, Inversions, and Core: Shoulderstand Preparation and Play"

In this well-rounded workshop we will intelligently build heat as we practice, prepare and inform the shoulders, back, legs, and body for a gentle crescendo into the cooling and calming posture and effects of Sarvangasana or Shoulderstand.

We'll begin with an alignment-based slow flow practice before breaking out to workshop different asanas as we mindfully and joyfully prepare for one of the greatest postures of all time, Sarvangasana. Together we'll break down the elements and components that skillfully prepare and guide us to various modified variations of Shoulderstand and to the full expression of the posture.  After our preparation we'll venture further into various modified variations of Shoulderstand, and if we wish, a full expression, as we begin to cool and quiet the body, mind, and breath. We'll end with a little restorative yoga and a long savasana to end a wonderful practice together.

Sunday, February 20th, 2022

2:00-4:00pm

Sunday Kind of Love - A Soulful Slow Flow, Restoratives, and Meditation

The art of slowing down and enjoying the pause.

We'll close the workshop weekend with a delicious and well-rounded Sunday soul flow and alignment-based practice, before gently easing into a few restoratives.

We'll explore and ground with some pranayama and gentle breath work before we wrap up the Sunday workshop with a short but sweet sit and meditation together. We'll be exploring Vipassana meditation and will be closing with a guided breath meditation.

This trip was so great!! I had the pleasure of attending this trip in the past and couldn't wait to attend again. things have only gotten better since I last went. All of the accommodations were great, close to shops and events, and the activities are well thought out and things I would not have thought of myself. The paddle along the cliff sides is breathtaking, and the VIP experience at Cova d'en Xoroi is a once in a lifetime experience. i wouldn't hesitate to attend more Trips with Mary Susan.

Thank you, Mary for the experience of a lifetime! Mary was very prepared for any and all circumstances during our many adventures, most of which I can personally say gave me the assurance and comfort to have the best day ever on our excursions. Mary provided all dietary accommodations offered at each food venue, gave valuable insights on local customs and celebrations, personally vetted and obtained trusting relationships with all activity guides, prioritized safety protocols, and prepared a backup plan for all the weather interruptions on the trip. More importantly, at each major point in the trip she was conscious of each person’s needs for well being and rest. I personally could not have had a successful boating excursion without her peppermint oil and her guidance on how to position oneself on the boat. I also appreciated when, after seeing our state of being after a full day, she offered a lovely and deeply thoughtful meditation instead of her personalized yoga class (which I can attest gives invaluable insight into improving foundational yoga poses). I want to note that her yoga practice is not strictly abiding, and she values the allowance and space to move in a way that suits each body and mind. With no stone unturned, she offered a wide array of accessible yoga and meditation resources after the trip with thoughtful detail via email, and shared amazing photos that we could all view on all devices. Everyday offered something new and exciting, as she allowed space on the itinerary to offer some fun evening activities based on special events. We were in awe of Barcelona and Menorca for its beauty and its people. I’m grateful for Mary’s nurturing and knowledgeable approach to all her activities, as well as the friendships formed with each lovely woman on the trip. If you want countless opportunities for something your soul can smile about, I would go on one of her adventures.
