About this trip

A WINTER DREAM AND WILD YOGA RETREAT

As the days grow darker and the nights longer, hibernation into dreams, images, and revelation call us. Entering the realms of our dream maker allows us to know ourselves in deeper ways, to dance with our muse, to face our shadow. Being vulnerable calls for courage. In dreamtime we engage with the facets of ourselves that are hidden deep below. We call them forth from the darkness of the dream cave into the light of consciousness. Let us gestate in the womb of their mystery and profound power as we pay reverence to the teachings of our dreams.

Soul speaks through images, and every dream is an embodied invitation to our unfolding soul story. The inner wilds of dreams, the outer wilderness of the world, and our bodies are three of our most potent guides.

In this weekend dream and yoga immersion, we will courageously and deeply listen while wandering in the soul’s mysterious domain, submitting ourselves to its atmospheres, landscapes, and characters. We will be in ceremony and conversation with the animate natural world and call on the work with dream plants.

Our mornings will be spend in a wild yoga practice as a prayer, connecting our inner landscape with the elements and spirits of the surrounding land of Raven Crest.

A shift in consciousness and radical transformation are possible for ourselves and our world.

Roots, Song, Prayer & Breath was a beautiful weekend of nourishment, community, empowerment, and connection with both plants and people. Our schedule was filled with wonderful experiences and experiential learning opportunities plus there was also freedom to take a walk in the woods, meditate in nature, or take time for self reflection. The meals were beyond amazing- very creative, filled with savory herbs and nourishing local foods (most from the farm). The retreat teachers were kind, generous and wise. From ceremony in the beautiful temple and drumming around the fire under the moon to mushroom walks and digging roots, it was a great weekend!
Susanna has created a wonderful sanctuary for rest, renewal, healing, and learning at Raven Crest Botanical Farm. The wisdom, love and compassion shared by her, Maryn, and Sam provided an environment that nourished my body, soul, and mind, as well as inspired me. Creating our own herbal/root medicines for immunity, learning how to breathe properly to open up our lower chakras and unleash our True Voice, and connecting with the land, plants, and each other were true blessings. The food was incredibly delicious and healthy. I found a new tribe attending this retreat! And I will gladly return for future retreats!!!
My heartfelt gratitude to Susanna for opening up her incredible home and farm and to Susanna and Doug for putting together such an enriching and powerful retreat. Words can not express what must be experienced directly. Thank you.
This was an amazing weekend, full of learning & a spiritual reflection for our natural world. Sam the herbalist broke down herbalism in a thoughtful way, with active learning that included walking in the garden, plant observation, and notes. Susanna is an incredibly kind & intuitive soul, who sang for us and led a sound meditation and ceremonies. The group was just the right size, the farm staff are friendly, welcoming people who add to the experience. This was an incredibly intentional & peaceful weekend. Oh & lastly The food by Katia was 4 stars, some of the best healthy eating I've done in a setting like that. I recommend for anyone interested in the healing qualities of plants, herbalism, or simply to restore and connect with nature.

Such a magical experience as always. My soul is full!
