Tap into the soothing rhythms of nature as your family plays together in the Kaweah River, journeys into Sequoia National Park to see the Big Trees, gathers around the campfire for s'mores, and more. Learn about the history of this beautiful locale, and meet some of the people keeping its legacies alive.
This trip includes guided meditations and wellness activities, as well as lots of free time to explore and relax in California's beautiful Sierra foothills. This is a self-drive adventure, allowing family bonding to continue even during the drive-times throughout Sequoia National Park and its environs.

Accommodation
Each of our suites can accommodate varying family sizes, with rates starting at $2395 per person for our largest suite (at a 6-person capacity).
Nestled in the foothills of the California Sierras at the base of Sequoia National Park, this riverfront retreat property boasts a stunning resort-like setting. Swim and fish in the Kaweah River, right in your own backyard. Develop your personal practice in the yoga pagoda (instructor not on site, but available should there be enough interest). Unwind in the hot tub and detox in the infrared sauna on the river.
Enjoy plenty of outdoor fun with a game area and exercise equipment, as well as multiple BBQs - including a BBQ reserved exclusively for vegans. Lounge down by the river or meditate amongst the trees in the hammock and outdoor seating areas.
Art from around the world is featured throughout this ideal resort oasis on the Kaweah River.
Luxury amenities include:
Expansive living room with river views of waterfall rapids, and rear landscaped area. The shared living room features vaulted tongue and groove wood ceilings and hosts a regulation-size pool table, sunny reading window seating, piano, comfortable leather conversation seats, and a large two-sided fireplace clad in an exquisite sculpted ceramic mountain scenery. The floor plan flows to patio seating overlooking the hot tub, sandy beach, and river. The outdoor patio includes exercise and weight training equipment along with a variety of games - basketball, foosball, ping pong, and more.
Your family will enjoy the rare sandy beach, and great river swimming spot. Nibble from the organic garden near the river - it is there for your pleasure. Organic soil has been brought in, along with seasonal organic vegetables planted.

All meals included -- explore the region with your tastebuds!
In our efforts toward sustainable travel, we work hard to source all of our food locally whenever possible. Enjoy produce from local farms as well as your own on-site organic garden, and travel with your tastebuds as you enjoy meals prepared by local small businesses. Adults will also enjoy an evening of California wine tasting.
We will also enjoy preparing food together as a group, taking turns creating salads from the organic garden, manning the grill, and exploring our culinary creativity.

How to Get There
This is a self-drive retreat. You will need your own car (or a rental, of course) so that you can drive up into Sequoia National Park as a family for some of our activities. With the purchase of this retreat, we offer you a complimentary America The Beautiful Annual Pass, to be used for entrance into any US National Park for one year.
We recommend flying into Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), as it is only about an hour and fifteen-minute drive from our retreat location. Alternatively, we are approximately 3.5 hours from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and 4 hours from San Francisco Airport (SFO).
Responsible Travel
You can rest assured that Return Refreshed has engineered this retreat with the local ecology and community in mind.
We work with locally-owned or locally-managed businesses, we source our food locally whenever possible, and we as a group will be contributing to the natural environment during a half-day volunteer time together in Sequoia National Park.
We will also be offering the opportunity to contribute financially to a local community development project - more info to come!
Vaccination Not Required
We do not require our guests to be vaccinated.
Return Refreshed is committed to respecting our guests' freedom of choice when it comes to caring for their own health. We expect all guests to follow common-sense practices for illness prevention, including but not limited to frequent hand-washing, covering of mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, and internal immune-boosting practices of your choice. When outside of our group property, local COVID guidelines will be followed (should they vary from the above).
