Villa Cofressi
Efficiency room (next to main building) has 2 full size beds and a kitchen. Hotel is on the beach and directly across the street from the training facility. This is the most budget friendly option.
Transportation
All transportation to and from the hotel as well as all activities and excursions through out your stay. (must coordinate flights with pick up and drop off times to and from the airport)
Surf Lessons / Pig Roast
Board Rentals and surf instruction followed by a pig roast on beach side property
Camuy Caves
Guided tour in the majestic Caves of Camuy
Boat Trip to La Parguera
We will explore the mangroves in the Caribbean. A typical Puerto Rican lunch will be provided. Including pollo al carbon, yuca, and arroz y gundules

The Full Experience Package is the most budget friendly package. The buildings are next door to the Main Hotel Building/Restaraunt and Bar. These rooms have a full kitchen which will allow you to cook some breakfast and other meals which will help keep you costs to a minimum.

Camuy Caves
There will be a 9am training session. We will then leave around 11:30am to explore Cavernas de Camuy. We will have a guided tour through these majestic caves. We will head back to Rincon for an (optional) evening training session followed by the Art Walk in the center of town where there are restaurants, local vendors, bars, and live music!

Boat Trip to La Parguera
Opening the day with 9am Jiu Jitsu session before we head out to the beautiful beaches of La Parguera! Packing coolers of medalla beers and a traditional puerto rican lunch for everyone is included! serving medio pollo con aroz gondules y yuca. We will then rent boats and explore the mangroves and little islands in the Caribbean Sea. Just kiick back and enjoy this amazing piece of heaven all day!

To finish this amazing day right, we all return back just in time to watch sunset.

Surf Lessons and Pig Roast
We will start the day with an optional surf or training session. Everyone will have a free afternoon to relax and chill before we start our beach side pig roast at 5:00. There will also be an outdoor mat area to train during sunset!

Morning Open Mat and Q&A
We will start the morning off with a 10am Q&A followed by open mat. This will give students to ask any questions about stuff that was taught during the retreat as well as any other questions you might have. Afterwards you will go back to the hotel to check out by 1pm. Everyone will then have some free time. At 4:00 we will all go for a hike at the domes trails and the Spanish wall. We will finish the hike at the Lighthouse for sunset. Then we will get one last group dinner at The Beach House before heading to the airport at 10:00.

Rincon Jiu Jitsu is s a part of Legion Jiu Jitsu Association and located in the beautiful town of Rincón Puerto Rico. The gym is own and operated by Steven Barnett who is an IBJJF certified 1st degree black belt under the UFC veteran, Kurt Pellegrino and grappling legend, Marcelo Garcia. Head instructor Sean Locke who is a 4th degree “Brazilian Top Team” black belt has been running a Jiu Jitsu program in Rincón for nearly 5 years. We are thankful that you have chosen us to help guide you along your martial arts journey!

Amazing experience put together by professor Steve. The jiu-jitsu instructional seminar by nick and Danny was next level and improved my game tremendously. Whether we were training or rock climbing we had a great time. The perfect blend of jiu-jitsu and adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Everything about this trip was amazing! The accommodations exceeded my expectations, as did our island excursions. Everyone I met was genuinely kind and very personable. I'm looking forward to seeing them again at the next retreat. Most importantly, the jiu jitsu portion of the retreat was done in a manner that was challenging, yet safe. We trained harder than most gyms train, but everyone was also mindful of individual safety. As a disabled veteran, I can honestly say they earned my trust in this regard, and can be trusted with other at risk populations.
