It'ss our first all-inclusive summer ride cycling, yoga, meditation and nutrition retreat for ride instructors!
A week long programme of studio cycling (indoors and outdoors), yoga, meditation, nutrition guidance, wholefood and community, RISE + SHINE is taking over a boutique hotel nestled in the Catalan countryside with infinity pool, sauna, beautiful sunrises, sunsets and calm!
Week Two is a special 'train the trainer' week for established spin and ride instructors who want to improve their skills and performance with some of the best trainers in the world!
Join some of the world's best MASTER RIDE instructors from the best Studios in London,, New York, Arizona and Sydney for an incredible and transformative week of master riding, movement, connection and pure joy in a stunning and secret exclusive location where everything you need will be catered for.
This event has been designed for existing RIDE instructors who want to improve their teaching techniques, class programming and above all their stamina on and off the saddle. There will be loads of Riding sessions focused on speed, geometry on the bike, form, vocal training and even public speaking to help you find the inspiration to share something meaningful with your riders during your mindful track.
Our master coaches will lead the first part of the ride and then invite each and every attendee to lead a class, receive full detailed feedback and tips to improve. You will then be invited to take the podium again to demonstrate your evolution and receive more feedback.
One-to-one sessions with your coaches will be offered to receive feedback on a more personal level, from how to use your voice to how you come across while on and off the bike.
Your performance as a rider will be assessed and corrected during our group training rides, this means that whilst one of our coaches is leading a ride, another one will be watching you from every angle possible and provide live feedback during the class.
You will leave the retreat having learnt everything you have always wished for when it comes to master riding, endurance and even nutrition for fitness coaches.
- Sara Fernandes, our on-site nutritionist will share with you all her knowledge around nutrition for physically demanding rides, meal scheduling, meal preparation and recovery.
- Ollie Black will focus on speed off the saddle and very movement driven rides and together with Joshy they will increase your stamina to new levels.
- String (Chad Stringfellow) will focus on form, resistance, geometry, speech and correct teaching methodology he acquired as a Master Trainer for SoulCycle New York.
- Faith Morrison will focus on creating magic during her classes, where she draws inspiration from and above all on sharing her experience from having taught at Power + Flow and on how she has come to be the global sensation she is today.
The spirit of the week's retreat is to ride hard, eat well and build connections with your fellow riders. As such, we want you to RELAX, feel COMFORTABLE and enjoy the sunshine, so you will need:
- Spin cycling kit (ideally with your own shoes), water bottle
- Gym and yoga kit (for HIIT classes and yoga)
- Swimwear (for the pool and the sauna)
- Relaxed summer clothing (for the rest of the time)
As a trainer, bring your energy, playlists and ideas you want to try out in classes
There is no formal dress code - we have the whole place to ourselves - and it will be the middle of Summer!
