Daily yoga, meditation and journaling, classic vegetarian culinary delights, unlimited pure relaxation at the hotel’s spa, life coaching workshops and complimentary massages.
Roam around the tiny village alleys in between the whitewashed houses, swim on it’s pristine beaches, relax by the pool enjoying the breathtaking views or take advantage of the various activities offered at the hotel including hiking, cooking, dancing and more. Deepen your practice overlooking the Aegean Sea, in one of the most authentic, beautiful and low-key islands in Greece.
Our days will start with contemplative silence. This is a great time to get grounded, go inward and recharge your mind. We will gather for our morning movement practice - an alignment based yoga flow or a dynamic Mat Pilates class. We will connect with our bodies and minds through mindful movement. Expect an accessible but challenging practice, where emphasis is placed on proper alignment and form. A moderately paced class that will help you improve your flexibility, release any tension, still and relax the mind. Our morning movement sessions will be followed by a mindfulness meditation practice and a short dharma talk. By working with our breath we will learn how to quiet the mind and tune into the present moment. Through the practice of mindfulness meditation and the wisdom of Buddha's ancient teachings, you will learn how to work with strong emotions and invite stillness and peace in body and mind.
As the evening winds down, yoga and meditation will be how we unwind, and get deeper into the connective tissue releasing the tension of the day. We will begin with a Restorative / Yin session, an excellent way to decompress and set the tone for a peaceful evening. We will conclude our evening movement practice with meditation and journaling. We will access our deeper thoughts and fears, release negative thought patterns and practice letting go of what we might have been holding onto in order to create space for new experiences.
