Are you interested in the rafting trip of a lifetime?! Then please join us for 4 days and 3 nights on the beautiful and world renowned Wild and Scenic Rogue River in Southern Oregon. This will be an incredible experience to enjoy both the outdoors as well as uplifting yoga and chanting led by Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda. This will be a safe, fun and posh rafting experience. Why’s that? Because the meals will be catered, tents will be set up and broken down and all your luggage will be transported by the staff daily. Please join us for the time of your life!
Everyone! Unless your under age 10 or over 80. Highly recommended for a family trip! Especially if you want to give some exposure of yoga and chanting to your family, friends and/or loved ones. This trip is also open to people with any level of experience for both rafting and yoga. Life jackets will be worn at all times, so you don’t even need to know how to swim. Space is limited to 16 people for a sweet and intimate group. So sign up asap as this will most likely reach capacity!
-World class rafting on large 6-8 person rafts suitable for rapids on this stretch of the river

This retreat will also help deepen your love and practice of chanting, bhakti, kundalini yoga, and ceremony in a majestic and elevating environment. We will sing and chant our hearts open each night. We will rejuvenate, relax, and explore yoga as a practice of embodying spirit in a heart opening and devotional way. Through daily meditation and chanting you will refine your perspective of these practices and yourself.

As a small family busines, we must adhere to our cancellation policies as detailed on our website “prepare” page. Because of this, travel insurance is strongly recommended. It will reimburse you if you make a late cancellation (60 days or fewer before your trip date) due to illness, injury, smoke, natural fire, flood, or other act of nature. WE WILL NOT. Please note, if you cannot come, you are welcome to find a friend to replace you. Plan for the unexpected with Travel Insurance through TravelInsured.com Estimate about 6%-7% of your trip cost. Kids 17 and under are usually covered at no extra charge. ***With this company, you have 21 DAYS (from the day of initial deposit to Nate’s Rogue Adventures) to purchase trip insurance.
Occasionally during the rafting season, forest fires in the region will cause smoke to settle in the Rogue River Canyon. Just like with rain, we float with smoke or no smoke. Every few years a forest fire will close the Rogue River. Please keep this in consideration while deciding to purchase trip insurance.
7am - We will meet at Galice Resort where you will be handed a dry bag to pack all of your personal items that you will be bringing on the trip, sign a liability waiver, and grab any river swag from the store or breakfast from the restaurant. We will also transfer over any personal food/drink items to our cooler.
8am - Personal cars will be locked at left safely at Galice Resort, keys will be collected and stored during the trip, and we will hop into the shuttle van and head to the river.
"River Time" - no need to check your watches while we are out on the water, here is an idea of our schedule, please feel free to reach out with questions.
We will float approximately 10 river miles per day through class III/IV white water. We will stop for lunch each day and a healthy and delicious meal will be prepared riverside, following a Kundalini Workshop Style Class. After lunch you will have time to meditate, journal, explore while we clean up lunch and repack the boats. We will continue down river on the rafts and make our way towards camp. Appetizers and beverages will be available at camp, dry bags will be waiting with personal gear, grab your bag and make your way to your tent to change into dry clothes, take a nap, read a book, or explore/recharge in whatever way is calling to you. We will enjoy a delicious family style dinner at camp and connect with our river family about our favorite parts of the day. After dinner we will sing, chant, and dance to live music provided by the talented Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda.
10pm - We will make our way back to our tents, or sleeping areas if you choose to sleep under the stars, and take time to prepare for the next day, meditate, journal, or catch some zzzzz's, while honoring the sound curfew in this protected wilderness area.
