Join us on the Florida coast (in Bradenton - just steps from the beach!) for Room to Breathe—a long weekend of warmth, connection, and deep exhale energy. This isn't a conference or the kind of women’s retreat you might be used to.
This is for the woman who’s tired and tender. It doesn’t matter what you have going on in your life, or where you’re at in your spiritual journey. If you’re looking for space to be without pressure, you’re welcome here.
Come for the sunshine after a long winter. Come to connect with women who are happy to be with you, however you're showing up. Come for the meals you don’t have to cook, the conversations you don’t have to lead, the mornings you can sleep in, the sand you can sink between your toes... whatever you want. I don't know what you're in to, but I want you to come.
We’ll gather around tables, walk near the water, take turns resting and laughing and remembering what it feels like to be human together. You don’t need to have it all together. You just need to come.
All lodging and meals are included. Come as you are and leave with a little more space in your lungs to breathe deep.
** accessibility notes **
This retreat is meant to feel like an exhale—for anyone who needs it. If you’ve felt out of place in traditional women’s spaces or exhausted by the unspoken rules of belonging, Room to Breathe was created with you in mind. Here’s what we can offer:
If you’re neurodivergent: The schedule will be slow, spacious, and optional. You’ll get a clear overview of each day in advance. No forced sharing. No small group pressure. We’ll make room for quiet time, regulation tools, and low-sensory zones wherever possible.
If you’re hard of hearing or deaf: We’ll provide written materials for group sessions and use visual cues during gatherings. Let us know what you need—whether it’s preferred seating or additional accommodations—and we’ll work with you to make it happen.
If you’re chronically ill or disabled: Once the venue is finalized, we’ll provide clear info about stairs, bathrooms, and mobility access. Let us know how we can help you participate with comfort and dignity—whether that means room preferences, meal accommodations, or extra rest time.
If you’re deconstructing or holding religious trauma: There will be no devotional time, altar calls, prayer, preaching, or spiritual expectations. Just a warm house, good food, and people who won’t flinch at your honesty.
This isn’t a place to prove you're okay. It's a place to come undone a little—in peace, with people who get it. If you’re unsure whether this space will be safe or comfortable for you, reach out. We’ll do everything we can to meet your needs with care and without judgment.
