Step away from the chaos and into a spiritual retreat for women seeking rest, wonder, and meaningful connection.
Join us in Portugal for a retreat guided by two trusted companions on the spiritual journey, Shannon Savage-Howie and Emily Ebert. What began in 2021 as a simple connection through a shared organization—and more than one hundred long walks in all kinds of weather—has grown into a partnership rooted in curiosity, courage, and a deep desire to create transformative spaces for women. Together, Shannon and Emily bring a beautiful blend of pilgrimage experience, pastoral wisdom, creativity, and compassion. Their leadership is grounded in embodied spiritual practice, expansive welcome, and a commitment to helping women reconnect with the sacred within themselves and in the world around them. If you’re longing for meaningful travel, thoughtful guidance, and a community of seekers to journey with, this retreat is an invitation to step into wonder, grounding, and connection in the breathtaking landscapes of Portugal.
Escape to the quiet beauty of Portugal’s Alentejo region for a six-day, five-night not-so-serious spiritual retreat designed for women who long to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with themselves. Surrounded by rolling hills, warm breezes, artisan villages, and sunset-soaked landscapes, you’ll enjoy optional morning yoga, gentle practices for grounding and reflection, a countryside hike, a wine tasting, and plenty of spacious time to rest or explore. With a balance of meaningful conversation and lighthearted connection, this retreat invites you to step away from the noise of daily life and return to a rhythm that feels like you—unhurried, inspired, and fully alive.
Just under two hours from Lisbon, Quinta Camarena offers the perfect blend of tranquility, beauty, and authentic Alentejo charm. Nestled on four acres of rolling countryside, this peaceful, nature-immersed retreat center feels like a secluded haven—ideal for rest, reflection, and connection.
Wake to birdsong, enjoy fresh local meals, and spend your days wandering forest paths, lounging by the pool, or savoring sunsets that paint the sky in fiery reds and golds. Located within the protected Costa Vicentina, Quinta Camarena sits between pastoral hills and Portugal’s breathtaking coastline, with stunning beaches only minutes away.
A short walk leads to the timeless village of Cercal, while nearby towns offer history, artisan culture, and a warm, creative community rooted in sustainable living. At Quinta Camarena, you’ll find space to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover your sense of wonder.
