Blue Spirit Costa Rica is located on the Southern end of Guiones Beach in Nosara, on the Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

If you have mobility issues, be sure to check the location of your room before booking, as accommodations beyond the main building are built on a hillside. • Ocean View, Mountain View, and Hermitage rooms are located in the main building which has an elevator.
• Nature Suites, Eco Cottages, and Tents are down the hill from the main building, accessed by sets of stone steps that wind through the jungle.

Your balance/final payment is due December 15th, 2023 for the Early Bird rates.

Balances after that date increase by $250 and must be received by March 15, 2024.
Rooms not paid in full by March 15, 2024 will be released.

Credit Card payment fees are 2.9% for Visa/MC  and 3.9% for Amex. 

US bank transfers are free. 

Processing fee of 1% + 30 cent/transaction is added at checkout.

AIRPORTS IN COSTA RICA 

The two international airports in Costa Rica are: Liberia International Airport (LIR) and San Jose International Airport (SJO – also called Juan Santamaria Airport). Both airports have frequent flights to and from all over the United States and Canada.

We recommend flying into Liberia International Airport (LIR) as this is the closest airport to Blue Spirit.  From the airport you can take a shuttle which is a two and a half-hour drive scenic drive from Blue Spirit Costa Rica.  Flying to San Jose International Airport (SJO) is also an option as sometimes flights from the US, Canada, or other parts of the world are less expensive or more direct than flying into Liberia International Airport (LIR). Getting to Blue Spirit from San Jose International Airport (SJO) by ground transportation however is more costly and can take 5 hours.

Whether you choose to fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR) or San Jose International Airport (SJO), there are a variety of options available for your travel onwards to Blue Spirit.

HOW TO GET FROM AIRPORT TO BLUE SPIRIT

Airport Shuttles and Taxis

*Blue Spirit offers a group shuttle service from Liberia Int’l Airport (LIR) to Blue Spirit on

Saturdays ONLY, 12-4pm and 7:00-8:30pm. The scenic ride takes approximately 2.5 hours,

and costs $60 per person (one way + 13% tax).

*Guests arriving at San José Int’l Airport (SJO) can also arrange to be picked up and brought

to Blue Spirit at a cost of $240 (one person, one way + 13% tax). The ride from SJO takes

approximately 5-6 hours. Availability for this service is limited, so we recommend

reserving it as soon as you have your flight information.

*You are responsible for reserving your seat on the inbound and outbound shuttle vans by

completing the online form under the Shuttle Reservations link on the Blue Spirit

website, or below, where you will also find some Taxi information.

*Upon arrival, allow 30-60 minutes to go through immigration, customs, and baggage

claim.

Once you have retrieved your luggage and passed customs, your shuttle organizer will be

waiting outside the only terminal exit at LIR. The organizer will be wearing a Blue Spirit T-

shirt and will greet you with a sign that says BLUE SPIRIT.

*The shuttle will depart ONLY when all the arriving guests are in the shuttle–we don't leave

anyone behind. So, you may need to wait a few minutes until everyone is in the shuttle.

*Blue Spirit also has all your flight information and will be tracking flights, so they are also

keeping track of delays or rescheduling and there will still be a shuttle waiting for you at

the airport.

*If your flight is delayed, rescheduled, AND ESPECIALLY if you miss a connection, please contact

Blue Spirit at +1.845.684.2007 (from the U.S.); for issues while in Costa Rica contact 2656.8300.

*For your departure, several group shuttle services depart Blue Spirit between 4:00 a.m.

and 11:00 a.m. You should plan to be at the airport two hours before your flight departs.
