About your trip

March 2 - 8 2026

Arrival March 2 (arrive by 1pm if possible, first class at 3pm)

Departure March 8 (check out is at 11am, morning class will finish at 8am)

Join us on a journey to Rishikesh, India, the revered birthplace of yoga! Perfectly placed at the foothills of the Himalayas and centred around the sacred Ganges River, it has been known as a sanctuary for seekers of the deeper state of truth ever since the Beatles’ visit in the sixties.

This Yātrā (Sanskrit term for pilgrimage or sacred journey), will take place during the Holī festival. Holī is a Hindu festival that celebrates the arrival of spring, the victory of good over evil, and the joy of love and community. It is known as the Festival of Colors because people throw brightly colored powders (gulal) at each other in a playful, joyful atmosphere. For the Holī celebration, don’t wear anything precious because the colors do stain. 🌈

It is quite auspicious to conduct our Yātrā during Holī because it also marks the renewal of relationships and the breaking down of social barriers. It is a time for forgiveness, laughter and togetherness, and a space for the community to come together to sing + dance!

The festival usually begins with Holika Dahan, a bonfire symbolizing the burning away of negativity, followed by the color-filled celebrations the next day.

This Yātrā is an invitation to immerse yourself in the ancient wisdom of yoga from its source.  Daily āsana, meditation, mantra and Kriyā practices will be led by Tony Lupinacci, Flor Daneu, as well as local Indian Teachers, Padits and Swamis.

Together, we will delve deeper into yogic practices through deep discussions and potent ceremonies, such as: Āartī, Pūjā, Kirtan and Satsang. Our days will be spent exploring Rishikesh's spiritual landmarks, from Vasiṣṭha’s cave to ancient ashrams and temples. There are also several major Ayurvedic spas if you want to get covered in oils and leave glowing and smelling like a sesame seed.

This is a trip of a lifetime. It is not only a journey to India- it is a journey inside to the spiritual centre, the centre of the Self - the centre of YOU.

About your organizer

I began my practice over a decade ago in an attempt to metabolize deep grief and to understand the human condition through my own. After countless hours of practice and self-study, I began to shed the protective layers of my personality. I found myself thinking less and feeling more. I know now that our true nature is to love and to move from a space of open-hearted compassion. I aim to get students back to this simple truth.

My classes weave Ashtanga, Kundalini Gosh and Katonah Yoga together to create a rigorous inward exploration of the self. I also use vedic meditation, mantra and kriya as tools to reach higher states of consciousness through the physical form.

My goal is for practitioners to leave with a stronger connection to themselves and to all sentient beings.
