Rosca Horsemanship is pleased to be hosted for a week-long clinic by Isa Avendano at Finca Soley in Costa Rica, from 9th March 2025 - 15th March 2025.
Finca Soley is a natural and classical horsemanship centred located in 5 acres of primary rainforest on their homestead based in the central region of Costa Rica, Central America with a focus on ethical training, eco-living and sustainability.
The week will see you work alongside your individual equine partners that call Fina Soley home, where we will look to develop your own horsemanship by enhancing your awareness, skills and ability to mutually communication in tandem with the horse you work with, prioritising integrity and mutual feedback throughout the series of lessons and clinics during the week.
These sessions will cover aspects of connection-centred training from developing self-awareness through to groundwork and ridden development with a unique blend of natural and classical horsemanship.
As a special integration we may have the opportunity to visit a local farm to work with un-handled colts on various aspects of their training, and see demonstrations by Ross and Isa doing so, with Isa also offering to work 1-1 with each person on her favourite subject: to create balance between the horse and the rider and learn to help the horse to become more flexible, mobile and strong.
To roundup your experience there are optional daily yoga classes offered. Wonderful Analia can take you on a journey through your chakras and our subtle body. The style is usually Vinyasa Flow, working in the link between breathing and movement and with an emphasis on biomechanics and how we sculpt postures from within.
The afternoons will incorporate trail rides through the jungle, hot springs, fruit and botanical garden tour and outdoor activities to see a little more of Costa Rica itself
The price is inclusive of 6-nights accommodation, airport transfers, freshly made meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), clinic and lesson fee and afternoon activities.
This course can also be booked without yoga.
