About this trip

Join us for an epic weekend in the woods...

The Run & Be Well Women’s Trail Running and Wellness Retreat is a retreat for women with a focus on trail running and wellness. Our goal is to run, get dirty, create lifelong bonds of friendship, learn some new things, and smell like a campfire before we go home!

The Run & Be Well Women’s Trail Running and Wellness Retreat will be held at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park approximately 25 miles south of Cleveland, Ohio. We’ll have access to endless miles of trails and tons of opportunities to connect with the great outdoors and create lasting friendships.

Our activities will include coach-led trail runs and workouts, yoga and guided meditation, roundtable sessions, and of course we’ll have bonfires and community meals.

Questions? Don't hesitate to reach out to the organizers! We can't wait to see you in August!

Tell me more about the retreat!

The Run & Be Well Women's Trail Running & Wellness Retreat is a 2-day retreat experience. The goals of the retreat are threefold. It's designed to: enhance the trail running and fitness experience for women; introduce new activities to those who have always wanted to try trail running, yoga, or strength workouts; and most importantly, to build community. The retreat will bring new people together and allow us to expand our social circles, and leave with a stronger community than before we began.

Women of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels are encouraged to attend! This is a great opportunity for a short getaway to unplug, unwind, and reset. You'll return to "real life" refreshed and rejuvenated. To get the full benefit of the Run & Be Well Retreat, we kindly ask all guests to stay for the duration of the weekend. We are unable to accommodate partial attendance requests.

The exact itinerary and programming schedule is still in the works! Please continue to check back because we're filling in the schedule daily!

If you have any questions along the way, please don't hesitate to ask! No question is a silly question and chances are if you're wondering about it, someone else is, too.

FAQ

We've received quite a few questions about the retreat! Check out this list of FAQs and message us if you don't see your question listed below.

What are the accommodations like?

Our accommodations include shared rooms and bunk beds — and they're super comfy!! Plus the facilities are really clean.

What's included in the different price options?

Presale INCLUDES all linens and bedding.

Early bird and Run and Be Well both have BYOB options. That means you can choose to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, and towels. If you choose the All In options, we will provide everything for you.

Please note: yoga mats are not included in any of the reservation options. If you have your own mat and want to bring it, awesome. Otherwise, you can purchase one from us for $5.

What are the grounds like?

The retreat grounds include a lodge/mess hall where we will have all our meals, a cabin which is a really nice dorm-style building where we'll do all our sleeping, another building where we will have some of our events like roundtables, yoga, and HIIT, and a fire ring for our community campfires. Plus all the trails!!!

Can I come even though I won't know anyone?

YES! Please do!! The goal of this event is to bring like-minded women together in their endeavor of fitness and health. We LOVE meeting new people ourselves and you never know -- you could end up meeting a wonderful group of women who become your lifelong friends!

If I come with a friend, will we be able to room together?

We will do everything in our power to make sure all roommate requests are fulfilled. Be sure to notate in your registration if there's someone you'd like to room with!
