Meet your hosts:


Mindi Slaven Fetterman:


Mindi Fetterman is a dedicated advocate and survivor who has turned her experiences with abuse and assault into a powerful drive for community and activism. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Women’s Studies from Florida Atlantic University and earning a Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky, she has immersed herself in political and community efforts.


As President of the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence, Mindi leads efforts to support survivors and works through her private practice, Real Grounded Therapy, LLC. She founded The Inner Truth Project in 2012, a nonprofit that provides essential support and healing for survivors of sexual violence on the Treasure Coast.


A Certified Recovery Peer Specialist, Mindi is renowned for her work in challenging societal shame around sexual trauma and has received awards such as the Soroptimist International Volunteer of the Year and the Jefferson Award. Living in Florida for over 30 years, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Adam and their son Noah. Her hobbies include music festivals, kayaking, camping, and diving into a good book.

Ever since Brittany was a young girl, she loved creating experiences that inspired joy & creativity. Brittany Cano founded Holistic Nurse Coaches, a nurse-led holistic wellness company supporting the overextended woman to prioritize her wellbeing through lifestyle medicine, mindfulness, and movement. 


She has a true passion for guiding others to prioritize their wellbeing so that they can fulfill their life’s purpose with peace & passion.  Brittany holds a bachelor's degree in the Science of Nursing and is certified as a life coach, personal trainer, health coach, EFT practitioner, Reiki healer, and yin yoga instructor.


Through her holistic wellness programs & retreats (both locally and abroad), she utilizes her background as a registered nurse of almost 20 years combined with her expertise in holistic wellness & somatic training to bring you transformation that is enjoyable & sustainable.
