We went on a half-day trip from Punta Arenas to an isolated sheep farm, from which wild condors could be observed with binoculars from a relatively close distance. The landscape was beautiful, and the sight of the majestic condors was something to remember. We spotted around 30 condors perched on the rocks, watching them take flight and then return again, including several adolescent birds. Our guide, Vicky, made the experience even greater with her lovely and joyful character, as well as her knowledge and enthusiasm for the birds and the unique Patagonian environment and natural history. She gave us excellent local tips and insights, which made the bus trip a pleasant experience.

We were a school group of 15 and Solo Expediciones did an amazing job of helping us book the trip, stay well informed of our trip itinerary, and most importantly feel safe and welcomed! This is the second year in a row that we’ve booked through Solo Expediciones and we’ve had the same experience both times. This year, our tour guide was Rafael and he might be the best tour guide we’ve ever had (e.g., great balance of information, humor, and availability)!

We had the most wonderfull experience. Before booking I hesitated because of the costs, but I am so happy we did make this trip. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. The staff was great. These people love their job and have just as much fun as their guests. 5star hospitality. So if you can afford it, make yourself a beautiful present!

Fantastic tour - so many penguins! You will not be disappointed. Guide super knowledgeable and you have time to really enjoy the island while walking. Penguins come and go all the time. Trip also includes visit to a sea lion colony which is also excellent. Your company are fabulous dnd highly recommend

The Dec 2nd 6.30am tour was an excellent one. Despite wind warnings, the tour was conducted very professionally. Alberto and the English Speaking Guide were very cordial, helping passengers up and down the open deck. We were impressed by the itinerary and we watched some dolphins along the way. Great service.
