A 7-day culinary and cultural journey through Lima, the Sacred Valley, and the Andes

Join me for an unforgettable journey through Peru—where world-class cuisine, ancient civilizations, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture come together in one extraordinary experience.

Our adventure begins in Lima, South America’s culinary capital, where we’ll settle into a beautiful boutique hotel in the city’s most charming district. Over the next two days, we’ll immerse ourselves in Peru’s legendary food scene. The experience begins with a welcome dinner to gather, connect, and celebrate the start of the journey. We’ll explore Lima through a culturally immersive food tour, tasting iconic dishes, meeting local artisans, and learning the stories behind Peru’s vibrant culinary traditions.

The highlight of our time in Lima is an unforgettable dinner at one of the world’s best restaurants, showcasing Peru’s globally celebrated gastronomy.

From Lima we fly to Cusco, the historic heart of the Incan empire and gateway to the Sacred Valley. Over the next several days we’ll explore the stunning landscapes and remarkable archaeological sites that define this region. We’ll visit ancient Incan ruins, wander through traditional villages, and explore the remarkable Maras salt mines, where salt has been harvested from the mountains for centuries.

Along the way we’ll experience the living culture of the Andes with visits to a traditional textile workshop, where artisans demonstrate ancient weaving techniques passed down for generations, and a working farm with alpacas, offering insight into rural Andean life.

One of the most memorable moments of the journey is a gourmet picnic set high in the mountains, surrounded by sweeping views of the Sacred Valley.

Our adventure continues with a scenic hike along the historic Inca Trail (104 km route) leading to the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu. Arriving through the Sun Gate, we experience the awe of this ancient wonder before exploring the site with expert guides.

After a charming stay in the heart of Aquas Calientes and an immersive tour of Machu Picchu, we board the panoramic Vistadome train, enjoying spectacular views of the Andes as we return to Cusco.

On our final day, we’ll explore the enchanting city of Cusco, visiting historic landmarks and vibrant markets where centuries of culture and tradition come to life.

The journey concludes with a return flight to Lima, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Peru’s cuisine, landscapes, and ancient history.
