Meet the ancestral guardians of light portals and learn to continue their stewardship of our planet. 

Our journey will be one of empowerment, teachings from the ancestral and star spirits and activation of your sovereignty as a spiritual light being. As you are revitalized and remembered into your true radiance we will also activate the radiance of the earth’s light grids at the potent power vortexes we will visit.

Your chakras, your heart’s capacity for compassion, your intuition, physical energy and spiritual awareness will all be enhanced on this journey through the gifts these power places have for you.

We will be a small group of 12 spiritual seekers with Leontine Hartzell and her assistant Becky Boyd. With plenty of time for delicious French meals and relaxing at comfortable hotels and charming cafes, we will travel by luxurious coach through the northern French countryside. The journey is designed to give you a progressive series of empowerments and healings. You will learn the history of different sites as well as the teachings from the ancestral spirits about how to use the energies of each site for your personal growth. 

We will also continue the ancient practices of tending the light matrix of heaven and earth that was done by ancestral wise ones from these particular power vortex sites. Guided meditations, shamanic journeys and ceremonies will also be offered to deepen your experience and unlock the mystical secrets of the sites and stones we will visit.

All the sites we visit are easy to reach with some visits including short walks on flat woodland trails. Good walking shoes are recommended.

THE POWER PLACES WE VISIT

We begin at Chartres Cathedral with its Black Madonna and labyrinth, which was built over an ancient sacred spring and holy well and is one of Europe’s major spiritual power centers. Cathedrals and churches were usually built over much older pre-Christian sacred sites of energetic power and sacred wells. The pure water emerging from the earth at sacred wells carries healing feminine energy and has been connected to sacred divine mother energy for thousands of generations.

We then travel to Brittany, which has the highest concentration of Neolithic stone sites in the world, built between 3,000-5,000 years ago. The Brittany peninsula has a strong Celtic heritage and culture. Standing stones (Menhirs) and covered alleyways (Dolmens) were built on power vortexes. We will learn to sense and receive their healing energies and work with earth and star light grids. The stone temples of Carnac on the Summer Solstice and the magnificent stones of Erdeven, the astonishing and powerful carved stones of Gavrinis and Locmariaquer await you! 

We’ll have Carnac beach with its integrating ocean water nearby as well as delicious French cuisine to enjoy.

We’ll then journey north to visit a magical Menhir hidden on a powerful ley line in the countryside  for a special healing and alignment of your three main energy centers. We continue on for another hour’s drive to have an audience with the Black Madonna of Guingamp who is positioned over an ancient crypt dedicated to the Mother of the Underworld.. She is revered by the locals and is a strong Divine Feminine presence and healer. 

Then, after a mystical empowerment at a church built on an ancient sacred vortex on the north coast of Brittany, we go to immerse in the spiritual power of Mont St Michel, built directly on one of our planet’s most powerful energy lines. We visit with our third Black Madonna on this island temple.

Three years ago Leontine’s spirit guides told her to go to Brittany and be with the stones there. Leontine has since made two research trips to Chartres, Brittany and Mont St. Michel to work with energies there and discover the mysteries of these sites that had been lost through time. She continues to study and research working with Black Madonnas, cathedrals built on ancient power vortexes and the powers and uses of megalithic stones and sacred wells.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON COMPLETING YOUR REGISTRATION: Your registration will not be considered complete until you have had a brief private call with Leontine. We will email you to arrange the call shortly after you complete the booking process here on Wetravel. This is a short 10 minute call via Zoom just to be sure this trip is a good fit for you. TRAVELING WITH A FRIEND OR PARTNER?

If you plan to share a room with another person (spouse, friend, etc), it's highly recommended that you register for both of you in one transaction, otherwise you run the risk of spaces selling out. This will mean that one person completes the registration process and selects "2" double room bookings in the dropdown menu. This person will pay the deposit for both people, and either pay in full for both bookings, or sign up for the rest of the payments under one name. We will collect your roommate's contact info at the end of the registration process so they can be added to the trip roster and receive all communications about the trip.

IMPORTANT BAGGAGE LIMIT:

You are only allowed ONE small suitcase. That is all there is room for in the van. And you MUST be able to carry your own bag and lift it. No one else will be available to carry your bag! 

TRAVEL + MEDICAL INSURANCE:

Get travel insurance for trip interruption and medical care. These are required for this trip. Leontine often use Allizanz, but you have a number of options.

TRAVEL DELAYS/MISSED FLIGHTS:

We will depart Paris and drive to Chartres as a group no later than 1 pm local time on Thursday, June 18th. Weather delays, cancelled flights, and lost luggage happen. You may consider making plans to arrive in Paris a day early. If your travel to France includes a connecting flight, it's highly recommended you travel with a carry on bag rather than checking luggage. If you miss your flight or experience delays and miss our departure from Paris in the van, you will need to arrange your own transportation to meet us in Chartres, France at your own expense, outside of any other trip fees.

Rev. Leontine Hartzell has over 30 years experience as a spiritual energy healing teacher, meditation teacher, shamanic practitioner, esoteric researcher and channel for spiritual wisdom. Her extensive experience as a full time shamanic energy healer walking the Path of Light and helping others to find their way to a life of union with all that is, makes her a unique guide for lightworkers. 

She is a pioneer in integrative energy medicine and healing. She is a teacher of healers and of energy medicine teachers. Her ability to channel wisdom teachings allows her healing and teaching to be infused with powerful guidance that help people live more fulfilling lives and help healers bring divine healing energy to others and the planet. Leontine is also an award winning recording artist and channels healing light language songs in ceremonies and healing sessions. 

After receiving an BA in Comparative Religion from Vassar College, she studied comparative religion and counseling psychology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, Ca. She is a graduate of Sandra Ingerman’s Two Year Teacher Training and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies 3 Year Program. She has studied with indigenous shamans from many countries around the world, including several Native American and First Nations medicine teachers and has spent time in the Andes Mountains in Peru and Ecuador and the Amazon jungle training with native shamans. She holds numerous certificates in complementary therapies and is an ordained interfaith minister.

A world traveler (25 countries so far), she has traveled throughout France and finds Brittany in France’s northwest a unique and magical land resplendent with the heritage of our ancient ancestors and the stone sites they left us. What will the accommodations be like?

We will be staying at five different 3-star hotels/guesthouses throughout our trip. Please see the "The Trip at a Glance" section above for specific hotel information, links to the hotels, and dates of stays.

What kind of food/meals should I expect?

We will be eating at various restaurants and cafes throughout our trip, and in some cases enjoying a picnic or bag lunch en route. Vegetarian options will be available. We will also make time to enjoy coffee and delicious pastries along our route! Light snacks and water will be available in our van as well.

What should I pack? What will the weather be like?

Expect average high temperatures of 19-24°C (68-75°F) and lows around 12-13°C (53-55°F). Sunshine is likely during the day, but coastal areas can be windy and include rain showers.

Does this trip include individual sessions/readings or one-on-one time with Leontine?

Leontine will not be available for individual healings or readings during this trip. 

How are the guided journeys and visualizations conducted?

No illegal drugs, plant medicine, or other substances are allowed on this trip. Journeys and meditations are guided with voice, singing, and soft percussion.

Van meets us at 12 noon - arrange your flights to get into Charles de Gaulle in the early morning. Alert us if there is a problem. But we want to leave for Chartres by noon or 1 pm.

We drive to an hour and a half to Chartres, where we have our first introduction to the power place of Chartres Cathedral.Time to work with the center of the labyrinth and the 6 petaled rose before more people are there on Friday when the full  labyrinth is uncovered.

Check into hotel and dinner at hotel restaurant. Sleep off your jet lag!

Full day at Chartres Cathedral. We have a wonderful American guide who will join us to discover the mystical elements of the cathedral which is built with sacred geometry on an ancient pre-Christian mystical power vortex. We will walk the labyrinth (which is only uncovered on Fridays) have a meditation, visit the crypt and the ancient holy place underneath the cathedral.

Lunch in restaurant next to Cathedral. 

Dinner at hotel restaurant. Night train to see illuminations around Chartres.

Drive from Chartres to La Roches aux Fees (the Rocks of the Fairies) in Esse. (2 ½ hr drive). Picnic lunch. Ceremony and energy vortex sacred play at this powerful place, one of the megalithic wonders of Brittany. The dolman (a stone structure with chamber with vertical stone slabs supporting horizontal slabs) or covered alley-way is made of massive stones brought from 4km away. Healing energies are found within! 

We then continue for an hour’s drive to the Abbey of Paimpont and it’s magical sacred well, dedicated to the Divine Mother, hidden in the woods around the lake. After a refreshing cafe stop we continue on to Carnac, the UNESCO site of the largest collection of standing stones in the world, over 3,000 stones in rows over 4 miles long. 

We settle into our Carnac hotel. Dinner at hotel restaurant.

A sunrise (4:30 am!) excursion to view the solstice sunrise on the stone alignments. Return to hotel for breakfast and a nap. Visit to nearby Manio Quadrilateral and the Giant of Manio Menhir (standing stone). Learn about the precise geometries the ancients used when building this site and solstice, equinox, sun and moon connections. Work with the power of the stone rectangle.  Ritual embrace of the divine feminine stone in this complex for renewed vitality is encouraged. Deep healing with the tall Manio Menhir’s energy. 

There is fascinating sacred geometry and astronomy that the ancient Neolithic peoples knew and they built the stone alignments, dolmens and menhirs of Brittany with precise geometry and alignments with the sun and moon. We will explore this history and discover what messages the stones and ancestral spirits have for us in guided shamanic journeys at specific stone sites.

We drive 15 minutes to visit the powerful Crucuno quadrilateral and Crucuno Dolmen which are extra powerful on this summer solstice day. Ceremony in quadrilateral for personal and planetary healing. We have guided shamanic journeys to work with the energy ley lines and star alignments to enhance our own energy and send love along the light lines out from these power vortexes into the world.

Dinner at delicious Carnac restaurant.

After breakfast at our hotel, We drive 15 minutes to Erdeven to the Kerzehero alignments. Rows of tall stones that we are free to walk among and connect with. Special visit to powerful healing stone. After our empowerments, we create sacred circle to send this healing energy out into the world.

Lunch in Erdeven creperie. Brittany is famous for its crepes, and buckwheat is gluten free since it’s not a true grain, but has grain-like seeds.

Visit to experience the powerful Dolmens de Rondossec-3 dolmens in a row, the dolmen of Mane Groh and the lovely energies of the Alignments de Coet er Blei and its Goddess Stone and Chaise de Cesar. 

Afternoon cafe break next to the ocean bay and visit to St. Cado’s sacred well, which was sacred a long time before St. Cado set up camp there after coming over from Wales. Lie on the saint’s stone bed to prevent deafness!

Dinner in Carnac town to taste local specialties.

Twenty minute drive after breakfast at our hotel to peninsula of Locmariaquer to visit the powerful covered alleyway of the Table des Marchands with its exceptional engraved stones, and an electrically charged ceremonial chamber!  Additional ceremony with the Grand Menhir Brise nearby, although fallen and in four pieces it still has enormous energy. It was the largest Menhir in Brittany and a central energetic point connected to many other stone sites. Visit to Er Grah tumulus (passageway covered with earthen mound).

Lunch back in quaint Carnac restaurant  before visit to Carnac Pre-history Museum to view artifacts found inside some of the dolmens and tumulus sites.  We explore the Carnac stone alignments and experience a guided shamanic journey to connect with the spirits of the ancient ones who envisioned and built them. 

Afternoon special empowerment ceremony at Petit Menec- the most powerful place in the 4 miles of stone alignments. Transmissions from the ancestors and star beings are possible here.

After breakfast we drive 40 minutes to the medieval town of Vannes. You have a few free hours this morning to visit the celebrated weekly market in the old town. Chance to walk the medieval ramparts, visit the free public gardens, visit the Archeology Museum or sit in a cafe and people watch or write in your journal.

Lunch on your own.

We then depart for the short drive to  Larmor-Baden for a 15 minute boat ride to the island of Gavrinis, often called the Sistene Chapel of Neolithic art. We have a private tour of the island and covered dolmen with ample time to experience the energies of the magnificent carved stones at this power vortex. Ceremony for personal healing and world peace. Boat returns to port after two hours.

Return to Carnac for dinner.

We say goodbye to Carnac and drive  2 hours north to Guingamp to visit the Black Madonna and her labyrinth. Guingamp means white place of spiritual center in Breton, the native language of Brittany, similar to Welsh.  On the way we have a special audience with the rarely visited Menhir de Kailouan, who is eagerly awaiting your visit to empower three of your most vital energy centers.( I talked to it about you this past summer).

We settle into our sweet Guingamp hotel and have a short walk through town to have our audience with the Black Madonna at the Bascilica nearby. She is called Our Lady of Good Help and her chapel is built over an ancient pre-Christian, pre-Roman crypt of the Mother Goddess, that held the Lady of the Underworld. We will dive deeper into the meaning of the legends around this Madonna and about Black Madonnas ( there are hundreds all over France and Europe) and walk her labyrinth. Healing ceremony with the Madonna.

Check into our two sweet hotels, very close to each other. Delicious dinner in Guingamp restaurant.

We drive east to the picturesque medieval town of Dinan, to a church built on a power center for another special empowerment. Next is a visit with  the Champ Dolent Menhir and work with its healing light for ourselves and the planet.Lunch in Dol- de- Bretagne.  We drive one more hour to the magnificent island (well, we park on the mainland and walk across a bridge) of Mont St. Michel. A fortress abbey built on an ancient site which rests on the St. Michael line or Apollo-Axis (we don’t know what it was called pre-patriarchy) one of the most powerful ley lines in Europe that stretches from Ireland to Israel. And, joy of joys, there is another Black Madonna here, which the resident monks have finally put on display in the last few years. 

We quietly do ceremony inside the church and work with sending love and light into the light grids and ley lines.

After breakfast and our group sharing circle, and a visit with an ancient tree, we drive 4 hours back to Paris with a lunch stop in the charming town of Caen.
