This 11-day/10-night all-inclusive retreat offers a unique combination of 7 nights of sailing along the stunning Turkish coast, followed by 3 nights in the magical land of Cappadocia. Whether you're immersing yourself in the serenity of the Mediterranean or exploring the surreal landscapes of central Türkiye, this retreat promises to leave you rejuvenated and inspired.

Days 1–7: Sailing Along the Turkish Coastline

Your adventure begins with a luxurious sailing experience aboard a state-of-the-art catamaran, offering comfort, style, and breathtaking views of Türkiye's crystal-clear waters. Each day, you'll discover hidden coves, pristine beaches, and iconic destinations, including Göcek, Cleopatra Bay, and the serene Boynuz Bükü.

Highlights of Your Sailing Journey:

  • Relaxing Wellness Activities: Begin each morning with yoga on deck, followed by guided meditation or mindful breathing to help center your energy for the day. Rejuvenate throughout the day with wellness sessions tailored to nourish both the body and soul.
  • Swim Stops & Water Sports: Dive into the crystal-clear waters for leisurely swims or indulge in snorkeling and paddleboarding. These vibrant waters offer abundant marine life, giving you the chance to experience the tranquil beauty of the sea up close.
  • Iconic Destinations:
    • Göcek: Enjoy a delightful day in the lively town of Göcek, where you can shop for local treasures or explore its charming streets.
    • Cleopatra Bay: Step into history as you visit Cleopatra's Bay, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters while exploring ancient ruins tied to the legend of Cleopatra.
    • Boynuz Bükü: Find peace in the serene bay of Boynuz Bükü, a hidden paradise that offers spectacular views and a tranquil atmosphere perfect for unwinding.
  • Local Cuisine & Dining: Indulge in authentic Turkish Mezes, freshly prepared seafood, and flavorful regional dishes served with a selection of local wines. Meals are made with fresh, local ingredients, ensuring an authentic taste of Turkey.
  • Sunsets & Evenings at Sea: Each evening, enjoy a peaceful dinner aboard the catamaran or ashore, watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting vibrant colors across the sky. Afterward, spend the night anchored in a tranquil bay, drifting off to sleep under a blanket of stars.

Days 8–10: Exploring Cappadocia's Magical Landscape

After a week of sailing, your journey takes you inland to the captivating region of Cappadocia, renowned for its unique rock formations, ancient cave dwellings, and surreal landscapes.

Highlights of Your Time in Cappadocia:

  • Hot Air Balloon Ride: Start one unforgettable morning with an early morning hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia's breathtaking landscape. Float above the iconic fairy chimneys, ancient rock-cut dwellings, and valleys bathed in the golden light of dawn. This awe-inspiring experience will provide you with panoramic views of one of the world's most unique landscapes.
  • Exploration of UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Spend your days discovering the rich history and natural wonders of Cappadocia. Visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll explore ancient rock-cut churches and monasteries. Wander through Pasabag Valley (also known as Monk's Valley) and Devrent Valley, known for its extraordinary rock formations shaped like animals and mythical creatures.
  • Red Valley & Love Valley Hikes: Take leisurely hikes through the Red Valley and Love Valley, two of the region's most stunning natural wonders. As you wander through the valleys, you'll witness surreal landscapes of red-hued rock formations and sweeping vistas.
  • Cultural & Local Experiences: Immerse yourself in Cappadocia's rich cultural heritage by visiting a traditional pottery workshop in Avanos, where artisans still craft beautiful ceramics using ancient methods. Experience the art of Turkish rug weaving or explore the underground cities of Derinkuyu or Kaymaklı, where early Christians took refuge in times of persecution.
  • Wellness & Relaxation: Enjoy moments of tranquility at your luxurious cave hotel in Argos, Cappadocia. This stunning hotel, carved into ancient rock formations, offers peaceful courtyards and panoramic views of the valleys. Unwind with Turkish baths at a local hammam or indulge in spa treatments to rejuvenate your body after the day's adventures.
  • Delicious Turkish Cuisine: Savor local Cappadocian specialties like testi kebab (meat cooked in a clay pot), manti (Turkish dumplings), and baklava for dessert. Whether you're dining at your hotel or in one of the region's cozy local restaurants, each meal will be a delightful journey into the flavors of Turkey.

Day 11: Farewell

On your final morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel and reflect on your incredible adventure. One last time, take in the breathtaking views of Cappadocia before being transferred to Kayseri Airport (ASR) for your onward journey.

My friends and I had the best time visiting Zion and Bryce Canyon! The accommodations were beautiful. We enjoyed the wrap-around deck views, relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, and the star-gazing was phenomenal! Alle was a very knowledgeable yoga instructor who did a great job of guiding us through stretches and flows to prepare us for hiking and address any aches and pains afterwards. The concierge service and direction she provided in the parks was a fabulous and worry-free way to travel. Our chef, Amber, completely spoiled us with her delicious, healthy cooking to fuel our hikes and her desserts were off the charts! Thanks for taking such good care of us :) It was fun to meet like-minded yogis and nature lovers from across the country!

I was amazed by the care and kindness by everyone involved. My room was amazing. Loved the hot tub. The views and the walks were breathtaking. A personal chef, come on. A Yoga instructor, come on. The car ride was more than I expected getting to and from the cabin. Other than that, I had the best time. Highly recommend visiting! (Oh, bring an analog watch.)

Thank you, Christina! We’re so glad you felt the care and kindness from our team—it’s exactly what we hope every guest experiences. From the views and hikes to the hot tub and chef-prepared meals (yes, come on! 😄), we’re thrilled it all came together for a trip you’ll remember. And love the analog watch tip—we might need to add that to our packing list! Hope to see you again on another retreat soon.

This was my second trip with Walker Wellness, this time to celebrate my 50th birthday. Cherry blossoms in Japan has been a long time bucket list trip for me, and Amy did not disappoint. From the moment I signed up, she was in communication with me to ensure the itinerary was everything I wanted. Her attention to detail and excellent service along with first class luxury experience made this a trip I will never forget. We were a small group of five women, I travelled solo and felt more comfortable abroad not knowing the language to go with a retreat group that I knew and had a great experience with before. Immediately, the other women embraced me into their fold, and now I feel like I have made new friends that I would easily travel with again. If you’re on the fence, do not hesitate, I can’t imagine a better way to experience Japan for the first time! I’ll definitely be traveling with them again!
