We had a brilliant time doing the 5 day Salkantay trek. The views were outstanding the whole way. Our guide Carlos really made the trip for us. He was so positive, energetic, motivating and just great fun. The accommodation was great. Each night we had a comfortable mattress and the settings were phenomenal. It was so nice to have hot cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We had a great time. Our guide Vidal was amazing, very supportive and sweet. The campsites were good and the rented sleeping bags kept me warm overnight. Wonderful experience!

Machu Picchu is a great place! The organization was ok. The disadvantage and disappointment for me was that it wasn't an excursion at all, but that I was simply handed a stack of tickets. I then had to find my own way along the way. The guide at the entrance was nowhere to be found and the bus ticket for the return journey was missing from the collection of tickets. But everything still worked out fine.
