Domestic flights early this morning, making our way from Delhi to Rajasthan. Arrive in Jaisalmer where we will check into our hotel and then will have lunch, a city tour and dinner in town. (B,L,D)
A full day in Jaisalmer, exploring the Golden City, with a tour of the Jaisalmer Fort, the architecture of Patwon Haveli heritage museum, Gadisar Lake and city surroundings (B,L,D)
We will check out of our hotel in Jaisalmer and make our way to rural Rajasthan, with a stay in Setrawa. We will get the opportunity to visit the village and spend time with the women at the Sambhali Trust. (B,L,D).
Full day in the desert! We will have a farm tour, a cooking demonstration and lunch at a traditional home, a camel ride to sunset and a musical performance in the evening (B,L,D).
Leave Setrawa in the morning, heading to the Blue City of Jodhpur. Lunch by the stepwell and then we will spend the afternoon at Sambhali Trust, meeting some of the women, staff, and volunteers. After having a chance to shop a bit we will check into our hotel with a little free time before dinner and a sunset view over the city. (B,L,D).
A full day of sightseeing in Jodhpur, including a visit to the Fort, the bazaar and a spice demonstration with the famous Spice Girls of Rajasthan. (B,L,D).
We will have a relaxing morning and then meet with the staff and Sambhali women and participate in the Women's Day march in the city. (B,D).
Early departure from Jodhpur to the city of lakes and palaces, Udaipur. We will check into our hotel and then have a sunset boat ride on the lake. (B,L,D).
Relaxing morning on property and then we will head out for a half day tour of the region. Later we will have some free time with activity suggestions or time at the spa on property (B,L).
Leaving Udaipur to Jaipur by plane, arriving in Jaipur for lunch and pottery tour. (B,L,D).
After breakfast join us on a city tour with the Pink Rickshaw, women tuk tuk driver led tour of the Pink City. Lunch in town followed by a visit to the Amber Fort. (B,L,D).
Leaving Jaipur to Agra where we will check into our hotel, head to the Agra fort then the gardens across the Taj Mahal for sunset views. (B,L,D).
Early early risers! We will be heading for sunrise at the Taj Mahal and a tour around the grounds. Return to check out of hotel and light meal before heading back to Delhi for our final group dinner. (B,L,D).
