Our Salty Sensations retreats are hosted by world-class professional surfers who do their very best to break down surf techniques and tips to help each surfer make strides in their own practice, while creating an atmosphere of celebratory inclusivity.

Kassia Meador, Leah Dawson,  Makala Smith and Andy Nieblas have lead over 15 retreats together, combining their lifetimes of surfing knowledge in a joyful coaching approach!

Our flagship San Clemente Surf Retreat is an outdoor camping experience that is focused on spending all day at the beach to develop and further your surfing skills.  With video feedback, immersive land lessons, healthy delicious food, a sound bath by Kassia, and constant laughter around the campfire, this retreat experience is like nothing else on the market.  

Surfing Level: Able to catch your own waves.  We can facilitate beginner surfers with the understanding that coaching sessions are in a group setting and you will be paired with surfers of a similar level with a designated coach.

Please book this spot with the full intention of attending the retreat.  

In case of an unexpected need to cancel your spot, our policy is as follows:

-If canceled with more than 2 months in advance: $50 cancellation fee will be charged with the balance of your deposit returned.

-If canceled 1-2 months in advance: $50 cancellation fee will be charged with balance of your deposit returned as long as we are able to fill the spot. 

-If canceled less than one month before the retreat, a $200 fee will be charged as long as we are able to fill the spot.  

-If canceled within one week of the retreat, we will be unable to return your deposit.

We will work with our customers to accommodate their needs based on circumstance and understand some things are out of all of our control.  If you need to cancel, please send us a message through the portal and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Arrive to campsite 4-5:30 pm (If you arrive early, campground checkin begins at 2pm, which also gets you a parking pass to SanO.  We suggest going to catch a few waves if you arrive early!)

7:30 (tide and waves depending) - Morning Surf - filmed for Video Feedback

10 am - Breakfast

Land Camp - Land Lesson 

Midday Session 

2:30 - Lunch on the beach

Afternoon/evening session (optional)

7pm - Dinner on the beach

8pm- Video Feedback - on the beach by the fire!

6:30 - 7 am - Coffee, Tea, Light breakfast at Campsite by the beach
