SAN DIEGO

San Diego is a place of sun, fun, and adventure. Its people are mellow, its lifestyle is breezy, and its days honor the go-with-the-flow saltiness of the Pacific’s crashing waves. Throughout San Diego are many iconic neighborhoods with various styles. The beautiful, Ocean Beach is one of the coolest of all the neighborhoods--locals rarely leaving their laid-back-bubble-of-good-vibes.

 

You won’t find many chain stores in Ocean Beach: its people honor community and supporting grassroots (in fact, when StarBucks came, there was quite the peaceful protest). The small, unique beach town is furthest west, the last stop on Highway 8 literally dumping you right at the Pacific Ocean.

 

The town represents So-Cal beach towns of the 50’s and 60’s with a holistic twist: its streets are filled with the smell of incense and the sights of tye-dye. From block to block you’ll see yoga studios, metaphysical bookstores, crystal shops, antique shops, record stores and all things magical. Music, skate, surf, health and wellness, and smiley vibes run this happy, beach town.

 

To honor the sunny adventure that San Diego is we have chosen to not place the San Diego Yoga Festival in a stuffy, chain hotel. Instead, we want to share our sun and love for diversity with you in the iconic town of Ocean Beach. The festival will allow you to enjoy classes all over this beach neighborhood offered at our various yoga studios, OB’s coolest shops, and the most beautiful outdoor locations. All classes will be walking distance, in a less than 8 block radius aside from our Whale Watching Adventure and Tide Pool Hike at Cabrillo National Park.
