Not just a holiday, it is a lifetime expedition build to feel the heart of Sardinia beyond the major touristic routes with wild company of great people.
Welcome you to our Italian base in Villasimius - south Sardinia.
This area in the south east of Sardinia island (50 km from Cagliari) has been inhabited since prehistoric times, as shown by nearby Nuragic remains dating back over 3,000 years. Due to its strategic position along Mediterranean trade routes, Villasimius was later influenced by Phoenicians, Romans, and Spanish rule.
For centuries, the coast was exposed to pirate raids, leading to the construction of coastal watchtowers in the 16th century, several of which still overlook the sea today. Until the mid 20th century, Villasimius remained a small fishing and farming village, largely isolated from the rest of the island.
The turning point came in the 1960s, when its natural beauty and pristine coastline began attracting visitors, gradually transforming Villasimius into one of Sardinia’s most renowned seaside destinations.
. Authentic Cultural Experience: Visiting islands allows you to experience the authentic Sardinian and Italian culture, traditions, and lifestyle. You can interact with the residents, try local cuisine, and participate in inland and sea activities.
. Support Local Economy: Choosing local entities in the island directly supports the local economy. We like to collaborate with locally owned guesthouses and hotels, restaurants, and artisan shops, you contribute to the livelihoods of the island residents.
. Access to Untouched Nature: where nature sees fewer humans, it stays wilder. Here the chance to access and experience untouched beaches, coral reefs, and natural beauty that are less frequented by tourists, allowing for a more serene and untouched experience.
