About your trip

In this one-day in person course, you will be introduced to basic Sarga Bodywork techniques using our floor-based equipment. This workshop is perfect for those want a glimpse into the world of Sarga Bodywork without having to commit to our 4-day introductory Sarga 101 course. During our time together, I will briefly describe and demonstrate barefoot massage on a floor based set up. Then will have the opportunity to try a move on each other. 3.5 NCBTMB Approved CEU’s (CE4024809)

BEFORE YOU BOOK: read the cancellation/transfer, course policies and prerequisites

COURSE REQUIREMENTS & PREREQUISITES:

- Must meet your state/country's massage licensure requirements

- Must have and list current liability/malpractice insurance in the state/country where you practice

-Must wear shorts and sports bra while receiving (allows access without having to undress).

-While basic strength and conditioning is still important here, a floor-based setup provides practitioners a much wider and more stable working area, and fitness level is less of a consideration than with a raised table setup. Sarga Bodywork moves can be adapted to a raised table setup

Who is this course for?:

- Entry-level bodyworkers curious to discover the fabulous world of barefoot massage.

- Bodyworkers who are curious about Sarga Bodywork and would like to feel it and have questions.

- Practitioners with a passion for myofascial bodywork.

- Bodyworkers who wish to incorporate barefoot massage techniques into their hand-based practice.

- Bodyworkers who want to sample something new while fulfilling their CEU requirements.

- Any bodyworker curious to find out if a Sarga Bodywork practice is right for them.

What can I expect during this Sarga Workshop?:

-Brief Overview of Sarga Bodywork’s floor-based equipment.

-Foot-based awareness, mechanics, care & sanitation.

-Sarga Bodywork principles & theory.

-Cautions & contraindications for barefoot massage.

-Basic Sarga Silk alignment & wrapping methods.

-At least one myofascial signature Sarga move to see, feel and try out.
