Arrive in Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya and the gateway to your African adventure. Your private representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to the historic Norfolk Hotel, where you will settle into your Deluxe Room. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the hotel or venture out for a first taste of Nairobi. You may choose to visit the Giraffe Centre and other activities in Nairobi or simply unwind in the beautiful hotel gardens after your journey.

Day 5 - Laikipia: Walking in the Wild & Africa After Dark
Walking Safari and Night Game Drive in Laikipia

After breakfast, leave the safari vehicle behind and embark on a guided walking safari. With your experienced guide, follow animal tracks through the wilderness, learn to identify plants and smaller creatures, discover signs left by wildlife, and gain a deeper understanding of the landscape. Walking allows you to experience the bush at a slower and much more intimate pace.

Night Game Drive
As darkness falls, prepare for another adventure. Head into the conservancy on a night game drive, when the African wilderness transforms. Search the darkness for nocturnal animals and experience the sounds and atmosphere of the bush after sunset.

Day 6
Day 6 - Laikipia to the Maasai Mara: Into the Heart of Safari Country
Fly to Maasai Mara and Begin Safari Adventure
Transfer to airstrip for flight to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight south toward the Maasai Mara.
Fly south toward the Maasai Mara. From the air, watch Kenya's landscape change beneath you as the highlands give way to the sweeping grasslands of the Mara.

Rise before dawn for one of the most unforgettable experiences of your safari. Travel to the balloon launch site and prepare for your hot-air balloon safari. As the first light appears, gently rise above the Maasai Mara. From the air, watch the sun illuminate the endless plains, winding rivers and wildlife moving across the landscape below.
After landing, celebrate the experience with a Champagne breakfast in the bush, surrounded by the beautiful Mara landscape.
