Once you arrive, you will take some time to relax and refresh while we serve you a delicious breakfast. Then, we'll greet you, give you a quick
rundown on what happens next and answer your questions.

You won’t find any more beautiful corner of the Rift Valley than Arusha National Park. Yes, you’ll see wildlife – giraffe, zebra and buffalo are present and the birdlife is wonderfully varied. But it’s the scenery here that most travelers remember, from the near-perfect volcanic cone that crowns the summit of Mt Meru to the Ngurdoto Crater, which often goes by the name of ‘Little Ngorongoro’. And by focusing
on the scenery rather than the animals, your visit to Arusha National Park nicely complements the other parks of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
Early Morning: Transfer by Road to Arusha National Park (Transfer time: about 15 Minutes).
Morning: This morning your expert guide will show you the best that Arusha National Park has to offer (including the best Mt Meru views) on a guided game drive.
Around Lunchtime: Enjoy a scenic picnic in the heart of the park—delicious food surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, with a beautiful view of Lake Momela.
Afternoon: It's time for a walking safari in Arusha National Park this afternoon. Apart from the Mt Meru views you'll enjoy, walking also helps you feel a part of nature in a way that just isn't possible if you stay in your vehicle. You will experience the thrill of a
walking safari and explore Arusha National Park on foot with an expert guide.
Meal plan: 3-course Light Dinner
If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants –baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll
probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards are around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Your backdrop for all of this is one of the prettiest in northern Tanzania, with a memorable mix of river woodland, open plains and rolling hills. And some vantage points to take it all in.
Early morning: Transfer by Road, Arusha to Tarangire National Park (Transfer time: 2 to 3 hours)
Morning: Go on a guided game drive amid the baobab trees of Tarangire National Park this morning. On the drive, your guide will help you look for the lions and
elephants for which the park is famous. It's a wonderful opportunity to ask all of the questions you want.
Around lunchtime: During lunch, you’ll picnic by the Tarangire River, where you can watch wildlife crossing the river or stopping to drink and cool off after a long day of
grazing.
Afternoon: Come with us for a guided game drive this afternoon in Tarangire National Park. As always when Africa's animals are involved, there's so much for you to look forward to.
Evening: Transfer by Road, Tarangire National Park to your accommodation. Transfer time: about 90 minutes.
Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Today you’ll visit Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful natural sights in Africa, a place where you’ll experience otherworldly beauty with extraordinary wildlife. Watch as, from above, morning mist rolls up and over the crater rim, and notice how the steep walls suggest a place unlike any other. Down below on the crater floor, explore a lost world preserved in a state of pristine isolation, one that
shelters lions and hyenas, elephants and black rhinos, flamingos and golden jackals. There are also forests, hippo-filled lakes, a salt pan and hyena dens, and you’ll never lose the sense that you’ve stumbled into a safari theme park where
everything’s wild.
Early morning: Transfer by Road to Ngorongoro Crater (Transfer time: about 30 minutes).
Morning: This morning it's time for you to enjoy an amazing safari experience as you go on a guided game drive through Ngorongoro Crater. Watch for animals that might include black rhinos, spotted hyenas and lions as your guide shows you around the crater floor.
Lunchtime: A delicious picnic lunch will be served in the heart of the crater, surrounded by nature.
Afternoon: Your early morning descent into Ngorongoro
Crater on a guided game drive is one of East
Africa's best safari experiences. You'll spend most
of the day getting to know this special place and its
wildlife.
Evening: In the afternoon, we’ll continue exploring the
crater’s diverse wildlife with another game drive before slowly ascending the crater rim on our way back to our accommodation.
(Transfer time: about 30 minutes).
Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner
You're going to be exploring the extraordinary heart of the Serengeti. Here in the Central Serengeti is where wildlife populations are largest, and it's especially good for seeing all three big cats. It's here also that you get to experience the classic savannah grasslands and acacia trees that are the signature landscapes of the East African safari.
Early morning: Transfer by Road, Farm of Dreams Lodge to Serengeti National Park
(Transfer time: 3 to 4 hours).
Lunchtime: Join us for a picnic in Central Serengeti National Park, where you get to eat great food while surrounded by nature.

around the savannah grassland plains of the Serengeti.
Did you know that Africa is home to a hidden queer community with a rich culture that rarely gets the spotlight it deserves? In the Ikoma tribe, located on the border of
Serengeti National Park, women without heirs—due to never marrying or having children—are allowed to marry other women to ensure their family line continues. This tradition, legal and deeply respected in the community, allows women
to build families for support in old age and secure heirs for their wealth. Today, we’ll take you to meet one of the queer families in the region and share their inspiring journey.
Morning: Let an expert guide introduce you to the many charms of Serengeti National Park on a guided game drive this morning. There's no better safari
experience than looking for big cats, elephants and more as you explore the Serengeti's grassy plains.
Lunchtime: Join us for a picnic in Serengeti National Park, where you get to eat great food while surrounded by nature.
Afternoon: A Visit to a Queer Family in Mugumu
Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Early in the morning you will transfer from Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar by air, enjoying a scenic game drive en route to the airstrip in Mwanza, where wildlife sightings and sweeping savannah views provide a memorable farewell before your
flight to the island. Here in Mwanza, Tanzania’s second-largest city, on the shores
of Lake Victoria, you’re at a crossroads of cultures. This means you’ll eat well and find vibrant street markets. Enjoy palm-lined beaches and vibrant Swahili culture on the island of Zanzibar.
Early morning: Keep an eye out for wildlife early this morning as our transfer to the next part of your safari doubles as a game drive (Transfer time: 1 to 2 hours).

Zanzibar Stone Town is a fascinating place to visit. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this absorbing port town was once the hub of a trade network that extended across the Indian Ocean to Persia, India and beyond. Stone Town's rich and varied pedigree is reflected in the distinctive architecture of the multi-story coral stone houses that line its alleys, as well as the cosmopolitan feel of the local Swahili culture.
Zanzibar’s Stone Town stands as a living testament to a complex and painful past. Once a bustling hub of the East African slave trade, its winding alleys and ancient buildings hold stories of both suffering and resilience. Today, Stone Town invites visitors to explore its historic sites and museums, offering a powerful reflection on this chapter of history while celebrating the enduring spirit of its people.
Morning: Transfer by Road, Sunset Kendwa to Zanzibar Stone Town (Transfer time: about 1 hour). Explore Zanzibar Stone Town this morning on a city tour, and we'll show you several architectural highlights reflecting its long and intriguing history.
