Savoring the Sacred

As you embark into the weavings of our words here, place your hands on your womb and take a full breath into her.

Now begins your opportunity to melt into more softness, spaciousness and your senses.

This retreat opens with us a portal where time ceases to exist. Any urgency is left on the plane, and surrender welcomes you as you take the drive from Cusco Airport into the Sacred Valley of Peru. Here is where we meet for an entire week in sweetness and sensuality.

Nestled in the mountains of the Sacred Valley, Savoring the Sacred is an invitation to honor the temple that is our body... in relation to the land that holds us, the food that nourishes us, the sisters that gather with us and the thread of magic that is always weaving through and around us.

Over one week we will spend our days immersed in the wisdom of the land through nourishing home-cooked meals, daily embodiment practices, ceremony, creativity, and spaciousness. We'll greet each morning with ceremonial cacao, move our bodies with presence, paint, journal, wander through the colorful streets of Pisac, share tea, bathe in flower water, pray, laugh until our bellies ache, and allow ourselves to be deeply nourished by the medicine of sisterhood.

We've intentionally created space into this week to remind our nervous systems that rest is an integral part of womanhood, especially those of us who receive boundless inspiration from Spirit. This space is here for each of us to hear the quiet wisdom that so often gets lost beneath the pace of everyday life.

Throughout the retreat, we'll gather in meaningful ceremony, including a traditional Andean Despacho Ceremony offered by a local facilitator, a guided medicine ceremony, and a womb ceremony. These experiences are woven gently into the rhythm of the week.

We are both the Mother and the Child. The nurterer and the one that needs to be nurtered. May we reconnect to the place within us that remembers we hold all of life, and all of life holds us.

This retreat is for the woman who longs to reconnect with what truly nourishes her. The woman who desires to relish in slow mornings, treat her body as a temple, get lost in meaningful conversation, beauty, creativity, and time spent in nature. The woman who is ready to bask in the quiet joy of simply being.

The Sacred Valley has a way of reminding us that life is a ceremony.

Our hope is over this week your connection to your body, food, prayer, sisterhood and the lands in which you walk on deepen. All from the simplicity of walking the "Beauty Way" - living life as an offering to the highest.
