Brilliant, very chilly trip on the Upper Findhorn in November! Liam brought the hype, despite the cold! We all had a great trip, learned loads and came away buzzing! Thank you, Liam!

Thankyou so much for taking the time to do a review Neil. You guys are all awesome that was a proper chilly day on the river!

This is the best course of Liam’s that I have joined so far - pitched at the grade 4 paddler aspiring to get more out of rivers, features, their boats, and creaking aging bodies! What better way to do it than team up with Alex Littlechild who is just a wizard when it comes to downriver play and styling drops. Unfortunately the weather didn’t deliver the goods, so the hope of exploring remote northern rivers was out, but with guaranteed dam releases on the upper / lower Moriston, and upper Tummel, we had plenty of challenges to work on. There are not many coaches operating at this level and I would highly recommend both Green Wave Guiding and Alex, whatever you wish to progress in your paddling.

We had a great time. Liam is a fantastic coach and there were lots of learning experiences. The 3 days were very much tailored to our own development with good choices of rivers.

Georgina and Liam were both amazing, I had a great time. I'd fallen out of love with kayaking after a couple of negative experiences and this course was just what I needed to get my confidence back on the water. Thanks so much guys xxx

Had a brilliant week with Liam and Emy. It was a lovely opportunity to experience the Spey and get to know such a beatufil river. As well as learning new skills on the river and becoming more comfortable on moving water in a loaded canoe.

Had such a good, productive time on Liam and Alex Littlechild's Wherever ThecWater Flows course. We were unfortunately quite hampered by low water, but I managed to do (correctly, not just scuffing through) a couple of things I've wanted to do for a long time, including dialling in McLarens fall on the Upper Tummel, getting the right hand line of Upper Moriston Top Drop correct, and doing Gunbarrel on the Lower Moriston for the first time. Doing Gunbarrel felt great - I've had it in brackets for such a long time now, waiting for the right time with the right people. Well, this was the right time with the right people - Alex could not have been more delighted to lead me down the first time, or cheer me on the second! However, the thing I was most pleased about was nailing the right side of Top Drop, and that was wholly down to Liam's instruction - he video'd what I'd done first time, pointed out where and when I needed to take a second stroke, which I did the next time, and astonishingly the line went perfectly - felt like a real achievement. All in it was a cracking course. Time to be selfish and work on your own stuff for a week without judgement 🙂

Have just been on 'Where ever the water flows' course with Liam and Alex Littlechild, great combo of calm and collected yet full of excitement of what the river can bring and what the group can do! Unfortunately we had no rain and relied upon dam releases rivers - this did not blunt the stoke brought to the river! I think it also helped us to focus on specific features and moves far more than we may have done!! The group dynamics were brilliant and chipped in helping each other - met people I'll paddle with in the future!! I highly recommend this course and will do another one! Thank you to coaches and team who made this a great experience with great depth of learning.

Spent a week with Liam & Alex running some of the biggest water I have in Scotland. Learned an INCREDIBLE amount, in some beautiful locations and really improved my paddling skills - both in terms of personal skills and group management/leading, even though that wasn't the core purpose of the trip! Cannot recommend them highly enough!
