About your trip

You will gently explore two of my favorite countries in SE Asia:  Cambodia and Vietnam.  This trip will have organized tours, optional tours, and free time for self exploration.  We at Remote Recreation Safaris believe that every vacation should have an opportuity for some spontaneity and exploration.  


You will have 2 days in Siem Reap for exploring Angkor Wat, and a 3rd full day for spas and shopping.  This is probably the best man-made wonder in the world.  And Siem Reap is a beautiful town that is reknown for great food, great shopping, and great spas -- at fantastic prices. 


From there you will fly to Vietnam, a short hop to a very different country.  You will visit four of our favorite cities:  Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City.You will gently explore two of my favorite countries in SE Asia:  Cambodia and Vietnam.  This trip will have organized tours, optional tours, and free time for self exploration.  We at Remote Recreation Safaris believe that every vacation should have an opportuity for some spontaneity and exploration.  


  

What's included

All lodging (4-5 star)

All lodging will be included in our favorite hotels that are both luxurious as well as being beautifully located. All hotels are on B&B basis.

All regional flights

The cost of your three regional flights from Siem Reap to Hanoi, Hanoi to Hue, and Hoi An to Saigon are included.

Tours and optional tours

We will include 2 days of fully guided touring of Angkor Wat, one day of fully guided tours of Hanoi, and a guided night tour by Vespa in Saigon. There will be free time too!

These are available online.

International airfare

Getting to Asia and back is on you :) We will help advise you.

Self exploratory time

The tour will include time for you to relax or self explore.

Tips

Tips are generally expected for guides, hotel cleaning staff, and luggage porters

All departure transfers

You will book your departure from each city with your hotel front desk. This is far cheaper, and they will assist with local traffic conditions to ensure your smooth arrivals at airports.

Charlie lived abroard for 28 years, from Africa to SE Asia to Europe. He finally moved back to the USA in 2015 and founded Remote Recreation Safaris: he uses his 15 years of experience in Africa and 4 years in SE Asia to design custom safaris and sightseeing trips for very special people. He avoids cookie-cutter, mass tourism like the plague -- every trip is custom, either for a private trip for your freinds and family, or small group travel. We strongly believe in spontaneity and discovery.
