In summer, as temperatures rise and tourists leave, the marine life it's truly something else! You’re likely to see various dolphin species like bottlenose, common, spinner, and pantropical spotted dolphins, and it’s one of the best times to catch sight of elusive orcas! Sperm and Bryde’s whales are also spotted in the warm waters - and if we are lucky, the giant mantas will visit us during that time in La Vnetana!
With crystal-clear visibility (over 30 meters/100 feet) and calm conditions most days, viewing is ideal. Plus, with fewer boats around, there’s a good chance you’ll have the wildlife all to yourself!
Baja Wild Encounters was born from a passion for wildlife and sustainability. Starting as a one-man effort by Jamie to reduce overfishing and create ethical tourism, we’ve grown into a dedicated team.
Ana keeps operations running smoothly, Sofía handles reservations with care, and Elias, now a key guide, shares his deep knowledge of Baja’s marine life.
We specialise in small-group adventures that prioritise unforgettable experiences while protecting wildlife and ecosystems. Welcome to the Baja Wild Encounters family!
