Day 1- Monday, July 19, 2026                                       

Overnight flight on Cathay Pacific flight departs at 9:00 PM Hong Kong which is 9:00AM EST in New York City!

1:10 PM - Approximate arrival in NYC after going through Immigration and Customs. Eric Kauffman will meet you to help you collect your luggage and take an Academy Private Shuttle to the Riu Plaza Hotel Times Square

3:30 PM - check in at the hotel (early, if possible) you will be given time to freshen up and change clothes.

6:30 PM - dinner reservation at Gayle's Broadway Rose (professional singing wait-staff)

8:00 PM - we will take time to explore Times Square and take some group photos! 10:00 PM - we will head to the hotel and check everyone into their rooms for the night.

10:00 PM - 5:00 AM - professional private security will be on duty

7:00 AM - breakfast at the hotel (with your roommate or two rooms together)

8:30 AM gather in the lobby to depart for the workshops

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM makeup and costume workshop

12:00 - 1:30 PM - lunch on your own in Times Square in friend groups

2:00 PM - Museum of Broadway self-guided tour

4:00 PM - head back to the hotel to freshen up and change for dinner

5:00 PM dinner is included before your first Broadway show

7:00 PM - Disney's The Lion King - we have requested an opportunity to meet the cast in a talk back/Q&A private session after each of our shows

10:00 PM - Check into our rooms for the night - Professional Security on duty until 5:00AM

7:00 AM breakfast at the hotel (with your roommate or two rooms together)

8:30 AM gather in the lobby to depart for the workshop

9:00 AM a tour of the Stella Adler Conservatory and a workshop consisting of an acting workshop based off of a musical theater scene

12:00 PM - lunch on your own in friend groups

1:30 PM - we will gather to depart for the New York University Tisch tour and workshop

2:00 PM - we will participate in a tour of the New York University Tisch School of Music and a workshop TBD

4:00PM - after the workshop we will explore the Empire State Building area as well as the New York Public Library and Bryant Park we will then make our way back to the hotel to freshen up and change for the evening

6:00 PM - dinner is provided

8:00 PM - Broadway musical - we have requested an opportunity to meet the cast in a talk back/Q&A private session after each of our shows

11:00 PM - Check into our rooms for the night - Professional Security on duty until 5:00AM

7:00 AM - breakfast at the hotel (with your roommate or two rooms together)

8:30 AM - gather in the lobby to walk to the train to Juilliard

9:00 AM - tour the Juilliard School of Music with a workshop TBD

12:00 PM - lunch in the area on your own with a friend group

1:30 PM - gather for the guided tour of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts

3:00 PM - walk or train back to the hotel to freshen up and change for dinner

5:00 PM - Dinner (included)

7:00 PM - Broadway musical

10:00 PM - In rooms for the night - Private Security on duty until 5:00AM

7:00 AM breakfast included at the hotel with your roommate or two rooms together 8:15 AM - gather in the lobby to depart and take the train to Brooklyn

9:00 AM - participate in the J&M special effects workshop and tour

10:30 AM continue on the train to Brooklyn's famous Coney Island where you will have lunch (on your own), a ticket for admission, and a chance to ride all of the rides including the Cyclone. You will have dinner at the park (on your own) and we will gather as a group for the fireworks and when the park closes we will depart taking the train back to our hotel.

Each night ends with the chaperones checking the students into their rooms and a reminder that private security is monitoring all of our rooms from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM every night!

7:00 AM breakfast included at the hotel with your roommate or two rooms together

8:30 AM we will gather in the lobby to depart for Brooklyn today we will have a guide who will spend the day with us walking back across the Brooklyn Bridge and touring lower Manhattan and the Financial District extensively.

12:00 PM - we will have lunch at Hudson Eats (on your own)

2:00 PM - you have a ticketed admission for a self-guided tour of the 9/11 Memorial Museum

4:00 PM - we will meet by the 9/11 memorial reflection pools and then make our way to the Oculus for shopping time.

6:00 PM - we will gather and take the train uptown to the Highline and continue to Chelsea Market where we will have a dinner (included) and more time to shop.

7:30 PM - Dinner as a group (included)

9:00 PM - more shopping or we can head back to the hotel on the train.

10:30 PM - Checked into hotel rooms and professional security on duty until 5:00AM.

FREE DAY - breakfast will be provided at the hotel at 7:00 AM (in groups)

8:30 AM - we will gather in the lobby and depart via train to Chinatown while in Chinatown you will also walkthrough Little Italy where you can shop and have lunch on your own.

1:30 PM - we will gather and take the train to Battery Park and take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island we will then gather and take the last ferry back to Battery Park

6:00 PM - we will have a group dinner in the area.

8:00 PM - train back to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next buy week!

10:00 PM - In rooms for the night - Professional Security on duty until 5:00AM

7:00 AM breakfast provided at the hotel in groups of 2 or more.

8:30 AM gather in the lobby and depart via train to 72nd and Central Park West 9:00AM to 11:00AM - we will tour Central Park

11:00AM to 1:00PM - enjoy lunch on 5th Ave. near the Metropolitan Museum of Art or we can go into the Metropolitan Museum of Art and you can have lunch there.

1:00PM - 2:00PM we have a guided tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art

2:00PM - 4:00PM you will be given time to explore your favorite galleries.

4:00PM - train back to the hotel to freshen up and change and we must depart by 5:30 PM to take the train to the Bronx to see the New York Yankees versus the St. Louis Cardinals baseball game first pitch is at 7:05 PM you will enjoy dinner at the game (on your own).

10:30PM - in the hotel for room check - professional security on duty until 5:00AM.

7:00 AM - provided at the hotel in friend groups of 2 or more.

8:30 AM - we'll gather in the lobby and walk to Radio City Music Hall

9:00AM - BackStage Tour of Radio City Music Hall

10:15 AM - walk to Open Jar dance studio and have a workshop with Thayne Jasperson who is an original cast member of Hamilton - he will do a workshop based off of choreography and scenes from Hamilton followed by a Q&A.

12:00 PM - you will have lunch on your own and time for shopping/free time in the Rockefeller Center Plaza area.

3:30 PM - we will gather on the steps of Saint Patrick's Cathedral for a group photo. 3:45 PM - walk back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner and a show.

5:00 PM - dinner in the Theater District.

7:00 PM - Attend the production of Hamilton - as with all of our shows there is a post show Talkback requested and if Thayne can work his magic we will get to meet cast members for a Q&A after the rest of the audience departs.

10:30 PM - back in the hotel rooms for check-in.

Professional Security on duty until 5:00AM.

7:00 AM - provided at the hotel in friend groups of 2 or more.

8:30 AM we will gather in the lobby and depart for our workshop

9:00 AM - Business of Broadway workshop.

10:00 AM - another dancing workshop with Thayne Jasperson - entitled "Dancing through the ages of Broadway"

12:00 PM - we will have lunch at Grand Central Station (on your own)

2:00 PM - you have ticketed admission to the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt observation deck we will then gather and head back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner and a show.

5:00 PM - dinner (provided)

7:00 PM - with a Talkback requested after the production - tonight is one of our off Broadway productions

10:00PM - in rooms for the night - professional security of duty until 5:00AM.

7:00 AM - breakfast will be provided at the hotel in friend groups of 2 or more.

8:30 AM - gather in the lobby and depart for our Mock Auditions workshop.

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Mock Auditions will take place with a local Broadway casting director and talent agent.

12:00 PM - catered box lunch (included) will be made available to everyone so that we have time for a Q&A with the casting director and talent agent.

2:00 PM - we will enjoy our final performance of the trip with a matinee of either Little Shop of Horrors or The Play That Goes Wrong.

4:15 PM - head back to the hotel to freshen up and change for the Spirit of New York Dinner Cruise 7:00 to 9:30 PM.

6:00 PM - an Academy private coach will pick us up and take us to Pier 61 and then bring us back to the hotel after the Spirit of New York Dinner Cruise.

10:15 PM - In rooms for the night - Professional Security on duty until 5:00AM.

6:30AM - breakfast will be provided at the hotel in friend groups of 2 or more

7:15 AM load our private Academy airport shuttle and head to the airport.

10:00 AM EST- flight back to Hong Kong

1:55 PM arrive in Hong Kong on Saturday August the 8th.
