      About this trip

Give back while you explore Seattle and Mt Rainier National Park!

      Here's what you can expect:

      Beautiful Locations

Seattle, often called the Emerald City, is known for its picturesque skyline dominated by the stunning backdrop of Mount Rainier. Beyond Seattle, this trip explores some of the most beautiful Pacific Northwest sites including the Puget Sound, St Edward State Park and Mt Rainier National Park!

      Feel Good Volunteering

This trip will include a fun, conservation-focused outdoor volunteer project.

      Fun Outdoor Activities

We've got some great activities picked out that will really show off the Pacific Northwest! They won't be super strenuous but you'll want to be able to comfortably walk at least 5 miles and be able to swim.

*Activities are weather dependent. If needed, the Trip Leader will be equipped to pivot the trip itinerary with a suitable alternative activity.

      New Friends

You'll head home with a bunch of new friends after spending a few great days together having fun and doing good! We have designed the trip itinerary for ages 25-39, but if the trip speaks to you, please sign up and join us.

I've written this review a million times and it ends up being way too many words!!! The trip was amazing but Adam and Ben make the experience :) Just book the trip - you won't regret it :)

This was a great trip! I really enjoyed the group that went with us, though it was small we all got along and had a really great time. Adam and Ben were great at keeping us on track for when we needed to be places but also allowing us plenty of time to explore and experience the places we stopped at.

Adam and Ben (guide and photographer) are skilled ice-breakers so our small group of strangers felt like friends in no time. I joined the trip for the volunteering aspect, which makes Have Fun Do Good unique, but all aspects of this tour are organized and laid back. We travelled from place to place in a comfortable minivan with huge, train-like windows so the amazing vistas where always on full display. Its a robust and active schedule but there is plenty of late afternoon and evening rest and relaxation time in an amazing house with million dollar views. Playing board-games and drinking wine as the big fireplace flickers was so fun. So was watching the night sky in all its glory with no light pollution! Sure, you can plan trips yourself, but having all the details, entrance fees, driving, cooking, scheduling, plus volunteering and getting to meet new people whilst staying in amazing accommodation just outside Zion National Park is a treat beyond measure. HIGHLY recommend.

I had such a blast on this trip! It was very well-organized. The hosts, Adam and Ben, were extremely attentive and friendly and encouraged all of the travelers to get to know one another, but there was no pressure to engage if you needed alone or quiet time. The van they drove us around in was comfortable and spacious. The windows were HUGE…it was like being on a train! They frequently checked in with all travelers to make sure the temperature was to our liking and pulled over at every request. The accommodations were wonderful. I lucked out and was given a room to myself, although I would have been happy to share my space—the rooms were all big and airy and had private bathrooms (with separate sinks and showers so 2 people could get ready at the same time if necessary). The house had washers/dryers, a hot tub, a grill, wrap around porches and large tvs in every room. There were plenty of games and activities to engage in at the house if one chose but we spent the majority of our time on excursions!!! The volunteering was what inspired me to take this trip and it was thrilling to be able to serve with my fellow travelers at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary—such a special experience. I loved the opportunity to see Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend up close—-Adam and Ben took us on the best hikes—-not too difficult and breathtaking views!!! They didn’t rush any of us but encouraged us along the way, making sure we never wanted for anything. Antelope Canyon blew me away!!! This place has been on my bucket list for a decade and it did not disappoint! I have never been anywhere so beautiful in all my life. We were lucky to have been on this trip with some very interesting and funny people. You never know who you’re going to end up with on a trip like this and I was pleasantly surprised at how well all of us got along with each other. Adam and Ben are very personable and funny and they broke the ice right out of the gate. I would definitely go on this trip again… But probably Costa Rica next time.
