  • Location: Boynton Canyon is a scenic canyon west of Sedona. The trail to the vortex is about 6 miles round-trip (if you go deep into the canyon), but the vortex itself can be accessed from a shorter trail off the main route.
  • Appearance:

Flora and Fauna: The trail leading to the vortex and deeper into the canyon is surrounded by lush vegetation, including junipers (believed to enhance vortex energy), prickly pear cacti, and pine trees.

After dinner at base camp, Baheaya will be holding a sacred cacao ceremony around the campfire.  For the indigenous tribes of South and Central America, cacao represents the blood of the ancestors and is a sacred plant that opens the heart and awakens the spirit. In a traditional cacao ceremony, the cacao is harvested and prepared with pure intention and reverence. Each step has a meaning and significance and specific tools are used to represent each of the elements. The final goal of the ceremony is to create Ka-Ka-Wa - meaning the combination of masculine energy with feminine energy and spirit for the intention of bringing new life and spiritual re-birthing.

Sunset Hike

Airport Vortex in Sedona refers to one of the most famous energy vortex sites in the area. Sedona, Arizona, is renowned for its spiritual significance, natural beauty, and the belief in energy vortexes—places where the Earth’s energy is said to be especially powerful, promoting healing, meditation, and self-reflection.

About the Airport Vortex

  • Location: Near the Sedona Airport, it is relatively easy to access and offers stunning views of the surrounding red rock formations, including Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Courthouse Butte.
  • Energy Type: The Airport Vortex is often described as having a balanced energy flow, combining both masculine (upflow) and feminine (inflow) energies. This balance makes it an ideal location for grounding, gaining clarity, and feeling a sense of connection.

  • Trail: The Airport Mesa Trail is a loop that encircles the area, providing access to the vortex and additional vistas.

After Dinner at Basecamp Baheya will be leading us in a breathwork ceremony.

She created this transformative journey of conscious connected breathing, incorporating powerful breath holds to create a nurturing environment for all participants to access their subconscious, release unbeneficial patterns, and make room for new thought patterns centered around gratitude and self-love. Breathwork, as a somatic healing modality, operates from a bottom-up approach, in contrast to the conventional top-down approach employed in talk therapy. Sessions like these facilitate the exploration of unconscious material that may hinder our personal growth and limit our ability to realize our full potential. This experience can be profoundly impactful for many individuals, underscoring the significance of remaining present until the conclusion of the session for integration purposes. Integration allows us to observe and process the entirety of our journey. Engaging in grounding practices, such as massage, nature walks, journaling, and dancing, can be valuable methods for integrating and assimilating the deep experiences encountered during the session. Enjoy your journey with tribal music and sound healing.  Allowing your soul to connect with your higher divine spirit.
