Day 1: Arrival Day:

Arrival in Zagreb for 3 pax – Driver will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation!  Your accommodation is B&B Kaptolski dvori (breakfast included) in the city center and where everything is in the walking distance.

Day 2: Time in Zagreb- today you will explore Zagreb. Considering your friend is coming day before I planed city tour today for 3 of you to be introduced with the history of Zagreb as you will spend some time here.

Day 3: Exploring Zagreb – 3 pax- For today suggestion is to explore North Croatia and Castles Trakošćan, Veliki Tabor, and Etho-village Kumrovec, the birth place of TITO- last president of former Yugoslavia

Rental car would be delivered to you to your accommodation in the morning around 8:30:

Day 4: Going to Slovenia with rental car – 3 pax 

Considering you would have rental car from day before, at your preference ou can go an visit Slovenia, Bled lake, Ljubljana and what you prefer.

Tonight you would return rental car after Slovenia!

Day 5: Arrival to Zagreb 2 pax ( total 5)

Today 2 of your friends would be welcomed at the airport and transferred to accommodation in Zagreb. They would have room in neighbourhood close to your accommodation.

Considering I was in contact with accommodation  and they confirmed availability but they put 2 of new arrivals in the same room as single, I rather would have them in separate place!

5 of you can spend a day or evening together while exploring Zagreb!

Day 6: Going to Plitvice lakes 5 pax exploring national park- overnight in Plitvice( Sixteen lakes) 5 pax –  taking retal car from Zagreb- van for 5 pa

In the morning the rental car would be delivered to you to your accommodation, You would have a van considering there is 5 of you.

You have about 3 hours driving to Plitvice. You will be send a code on mobile and just show it at the entrance as you will be announced in advance! Your arrival is expected between 11:00 and 12:00 in accordance with announcement!

Accommodation B&B Sixteen lakes 3 *, she has parking and will be expecting you. Accommodation is inside of the National park, and 10 minutes away from parking where you will leave the car while hiking in the park.

Day 7: Leaving Plitvice- visiting Zadar- ( maybe Šibenik and NP Krka)- overnight Split( Apinelo tower rooms) – leaving Rental van

Today you can leave Plitvice at your preference and explore Dalmatian towns. There is about 2 h drive to Zadar, and from there about 1 hour to Šibenik or NP Krka. If preferred you can visit another National Park today( Krka) 

From Krka to Split there is 1h 30 minutes.

Accommodation Apinelo rooms, very close to Diocletians palace.

After dropping of people to accommodation one of you wound need to drive the vehicle to rental car office and return the car. I will send info additionally! 

And now comes logistically challenging part! The bikes that you will have will be rented from local agency.  Agency is 8 minutes with car or 20 min walk from your accommodation. You should get there at one point and do bike fitting! If you can do it on Day 7 – great- If not than definitely on day 8 before goring to ferry.

Every day after returning from islands with the ferry you will need to return the bikes to the same address. Unfortunately, at you accommodation there is no secure place to have them during your stay.  Bike storage place is 15 min on bikes!

They couldn’t guarantee delivery to and from port unfortunately.

Day 8: Going to Island Brač with bikes from Split Port with local ferry. Ferry leaves at 09:00 from Split, and 15:30 from Brač ( Supertar)

In the morning you should pick up the bikes at bike office. They would open early for you. IN case you didn’t do bike fitting day before ( bikes would stay here- day before just to save some time this morning) this would be the time. This shouldn’t take long time. If you get there around 7:30, should be OK. 30 minutes for fitting bikes and 30 to get to the port!

I already gave your heights, and right size bikes and e bikes will be waiting. You will be provided helmets, repair kit, and paniers.

After getting bikes you would go to the port. You would have tickets for your and for the bikes.

As for the ride it self, you will get special instructions, and link on the app RIDE WITH GPS.  Ride is 36 km +650/-650 plus optional 20 km +430/-430 to highest peak VIDOVA GORA and back.

After returning to Split you would return the bikes to office again!

Day 9: Going to Hvar island( Starigrad)  from Split with bikes at 8:30 from port of Split.

Ferry leaves Hvar( Starigrad) at 14:30 and later one at 17:30-overnigh Split I suggest takin one at 14:30 considering its 2 h ferry ride!

Same as day before, you would need to pick up the bikes, just no need for the bike fitting today. As for the ride it self, you will get special instructions, and link on the app RIDE WITH GPS.  Ride 40 km + 560/ -560 m

After returning to Split you would return the bikes to office again!

Day 10: Today you will leave Split and go to Dubrovnik. On your way to Dubrovnik you will stop in Mostar. Driver will come and pick you up at your accommodation an take you to Mostar where you can explore on your own and after Mostar you will be transferred to Dubrovnik.

In Dubrovnik you would stay in private accommodation ŽIČARA ( translated cable car) 2 minutes from the OLD town, with kitchenets in Apartments!

Day 11: Explore Dubrovnik 2 pax – overnight Dubrovnik

Day of exploring Dubrovnik, with city tour included!

Day 12: Transfer for 3 pax at the airport and transfer 2 pax( Joe) to Ston

Your friends will be transferred to airport at their preference and you will be transferred to Ston.

Your accommodation will have kitchen as preferred as it is an apartment!

In Ston there are few markets where you can buy groceries to eat.

Day 13: Cycling Dubrovačko primorje

Today you will cycle in area between Ston and Dubrovnik. Bikes will be delivered to your accommodation and you do not  have to worry about logistics. You will have time to do bike fitting and cycle at your pace. I might even be there that day.

You will be given instructions of where to go, you can even do loop ride from you accommodation.

Options:

RIDE 54 km + /- 850 M 

or 71 KM /+/- 1300 M 

or 32 km / +/- 650 m

Day 14: Cycling Mljet

Mljet is island and National park. In order to get there you will need to take a ferry from the port Prapratno which is 2 km away from Ston.

Ferry from Prapratno goes at 07:00, 12:00

Ferry from Mljet goes at 15:00, 19:00

The way I do it when going with the group I take early ferry at 7:00 and come back with the one at 15:00.

Ferry ride is 45 minutes.

Distance is 30 KM from port to National park and 30 KM back. Elevation uphill cca 650 m one way/1300m total – downhill also 650 m

Plus you can cycle around lakes= 20 KM / 300 m elevation – easy ride around lakes!

Day 15: Transfer from Ston to Korčula and ride Korčula

Today you will be transfered from Ston to Korčula.

On Korčula you will have bikes, and can cycle at you preference.

On arrival day is recommended route of 42 KM to neighbouring villages Račišće and Lumbarda as I am sure you would like to explore to Old town as well!

Day 16: Korčula ride

Today you can ride at your preference. Ride would start and finish at the hotel.

Suggested ride  30 Km from Korčula to Brna  500 +/-and back ( total 60 km 1000 +/-) However you have freedom to cycle more or less! You will be given the options

Day 17: Orebić -Ston ride

Today you will leave Korčula in the morning and cycle from Orebić to Ston. Driver will com an pick up your luggage at Korčula.

You will cycle along Pelješac peninsula Distance 61 km +/- 1030 m

Overnight in Ston- Apartments Vlašić

Today you will return bikes. Driver will deliver your bags to accommodation and take the bikes.

Day 18: Ston- Dubrovnik – easy last day – overnight in the Old town Dubrovnik Cavtat

Today you will be transferred from Ston to Cavtat for your last day in Croatia. Cavtat is a small town and everything is in the walking distance!
