Really special journey with Josh at the Kora Workshop in Kafountine! Great koras, teaching methods, food, and company. Josh is a very prepared teacher—he adapts to your needs and abilities, making everything easy! Everything was super well organized, peaceful, and genuine. I’m completely happy and looking forward to other opportunities! Very easy to reach the location from The Gambia !! Thanks a lot

What a wonderful experience to stay at Kafountine and meet wonderful friendly people. I felt instantly at home and at ease, so well looked after by Kathy and Adam and their team. It was very rich to have such an immersive time playing and practicing kora with Josh and visiting teachers. The place is very fine, with hot dry days and cool nights, a sandy walk through the bush to the wild Atlantic or into town and the food was delicious. I'm already planning my return visit :)

A wonderful few days, developing my playing of the kora. Josh is a super teacher, inspiring and patient, as well as an extremely talented musician. The group size was just right, and the venue perfect. A beautiful place in the mountains, with comfortable accommodation and delicious food cooked by the host. I would definitely return for another time.
