The North West of Ireland is a spectacular part of the country with its mountains, lakes and stunning coastline. We call these our Home tours because this part of the country is where we come from. it is one of the most cultural parts of the country and we look forward to intreducing you to that culture. The itinerary is full of beautiful scenery, we take a boat ride on a lake, we visit castles, abbeys, a Forest Park, cities and the highest Cliffs in Europe. We take in a holy Shrine and the famous Foxford Woolen mills too!
Ireland is a mystical, magical place and we want you to relax and enjoy your stay while there. We stay in a small, rural, family run hotel in Sligo for the majority of the tour where we are central to all the amazing places we visit. We get to meet the locals and we also bring in some local musicians to entertain you on a couple of nights while you are there. We don't have to stand in long lines waiting to get into venue's and we have no climbing to do or long walks either. So we just take our time and spend plenty of time in each place we visit so you can take it all in!
We meet you at terminal 2 Dublin airport at 9 am in the morning. Some people like to come in the day before and meet us at the meeting point. If you wish to do that we can help you with accommodation near the airport.
We bring you across the country to the country hotel where we stay and on our way we visit Lough Key Forest Park with is beautiful lake where you can see the 11th century castle from the shores. We have beautiful walks with wishing chairs and faery bridges, canopy walks and tunnels to explore.
We then go to a 12th century Abbey in a nearby town before we go to our hotel which is Cawleys Hotel
