Today you have a full day private tour of the City, including  Table Mountain Cable way tickets, a visit to the Malay Quarter in the Bo Kaap and a walk in the stunning Company Gardens.

Your first stop is the iconic Table Mountain. Table Mountain is one of the most iconic landmarks in South Africa and the world. Its distinct flat-topped summit is instantly recognizable and has become a symbol of Cape Town. The views from the top of Table Mountain are nothing short of spectacular. You'll get a panoramic perspective of Cape Town, the surrounding coastline, the ocean, and the neighboring mountains. The unique geography of Cape Town makes this vantage point particularly special.  The Table Mountain Cableway provides a thrilling and scenic journey to the summit. The cable cars rotate as they ascend and descend, ensuring that every passenger gets to enjoy the breathtaking views.

We visit the Malay Quarter with its iconic brightly painted buildings The area was historically home to a diverse community, including many descendants of slaves from Southeast Asia, India, and other parts of Africa. The neighborhood's unique architecture and cultural heritage are preserved, providing a window into the city's past. Bo-Kaap is famous for its culinary heritage, particularly its Cape Malay cuisine.

As such we have the privilege  do a cooking class at Faeeza's kitchen a Cape Malay cooking class starting at 11:00 and have the fruits of our labors for lunch. After Lunch we have more time to explore known as the Bo Kaap.

Today you have a full day tour exploring the beautiful Cape Peninsula! The day starts with a scenic drive taking you via Camps Bay, Clifton, Hout Bay, along Chapmans Peak (if open) and on to Cape Point and Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.

Departing at 8:00AM, today is all about exploring one of the most unique and stunning marine and botanical habitats  of the world, the Cape Peninsula!  With the Table Mountain looming over the rugged coastline and pristine beaches, the landscape is a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers. (If you want to swim at Boulders Beach, please pack your swimsuit & a towel).

We drive along the coastline with the Twelve Apostles mountain range flanking picturesque sandy beaches to Hout Bay where we stop at the harbor where you can get close to some Cape fur seals (beware, they can be very vicious!)  and visit the art market where you can shop for souvenirs, crafts, and artwork from local artisans.

We continue along Chapman's Peak Drive (subject to it being open)This iconic coastal road is renowned for its dramatic views and winding path along the cliffs. The drive offers spectacular vistas of the ocean and mountains, with around 114 bends.

Our next stop is Cape Point, situated within the Table Mountain National Park, which is part of the greater Cape Floral Region, a UNESCO World Heritage site, right at the end of the Peninsula.  Cape Point has historical significance dating back to the 15th century when European explorers, including Bartholomeu Dias and Vasco da Gama, passed through this area while navigating the sea route to the East Indies. The Cape of Good Hope served as a crucial landmark for sailors and traders. perched on the cliffs of Cape Point is the Cape Point Lighthouse. The original lighthouse, built in the 19th century, played a crucial role in guiding ships safely around the treacherous coastline. It has since been replaced by a more modern, automated lighthouse nearby. You can hike to the top, or take the funicular (tickets not included). (Be careful with the baboons and please don't feed them. They are gorgeous but can be extremely dangerous!)

Next up is Boulders Beach, renowned for its breeding colony of African penguins. We do not enter the official national park as it is usually very crowded, but rather go directly to the beach where you can see the penguins close-up. They even waddle in the streets and one has to drive carefully! Pack a towel and your swimsuit if you want to swim with the penguins!

We now start the return journey along the False Bay side of the peninsula, driving through towns like Kalk Bay and Muizenberg with more stunning scenery.

We start our tour at the Codesa walkway on the site where a post-aparthied future was established. We get to see Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital, the third largest hospital in the world with a rich history dating back to the 2nd world war and playing a major part in South Africa's history and care for its people.

Our tour takes us past the iconic Soweto Cooling Towers to the Regina Mundi Church and on to  Vilakazi Street, famously the only street in the world where two Nobel laureates resided. We visit the house where Nelson Mandela stayed prior and immediately after incarceration.

Our tour takes us a couple of blocks away to the Hector Peterson Memorial  for us to get an insight into the dark days of the student uprising. After the museum we make our way through Orlando, the FNB Stadium and our memorable lunch stop at Sanctuary Mandela, the converted residence of Madiba where he lived the remainder of his life as president.  We can choose from a selection of dishes based on Madiba’s favourite meals, as created by his personal chef Xolisa Ndoyiya.

After lunch we travel the short distance to the Nelson Mandela Foundation for a tour of Mandela center of memory.

Everybody should be thirsty by now and we stop for sundowners at the exclusive Alto 234, the highest rooftop venue in Africa with breathtaking 360 degree views of all of the Northern suburbs and a lot of Johannesburg.  You will receive a complimentary glass of Moet on arrival to quench the thirst while we watch the sun set.

We visit Mandela square for an iconic photo opportunity with the Mandela statue and have time to do some shopping. Our drive takes us around Egoli, the city gold of Johannesburg  with great views of Skyline at night.

Arrive at Skukuza Airport & transfer to our camp in a private reserve, sandwiched between Sabi Sands and the Kruger Park, right at Kruger Gate. The afternoon game drive departs around 3:00PM and returns to camp in the early evening around gate closing time. We explore the game rich southern parts of the park with its varied habitat, making it ideal to see a huge variety of wildlife.

You have a full day to explore the park on morning and afternoon game drives.
