2022 is all about YOU! This retreat is designed to give you full empowerment and true connection to your highest self. A weekend retreat full of embodied self love through deep inner connection of movement, breath, adventure, relaxation and celebration.

A weekend away on the magical island of Roanoke in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. There will be daily yoga classes in the most serene setting along the waterfront, workshops on self care and how to incorporate a daily mindful lifestyle. There will be surprises like amazing guest teachers and goodies to take home. There will be lots of time to relax around the beautiful property or go off to explore the cute nearby waterfront village downtown. We will have an adventure day to go off and explore the top sites around Outer Banks known and unknown to even locals. A retreat designed to make an unforgettable transformational weekend that you will never forget.

A weekend guided by Pauline Sweeney who shares with you the wisdom of free spirit living and adventure from her travels around the world. As she grew up in Outer Banks and shares the beauty of the islands and community that she has adored.

Accommodation at Westside Inn

Beautiful landscaping, quiet atmosphere, and remarkable wide-open views of Croatan Sound. Westside Inn provides the perfect intimate waterfront setting for a weekend retreat with its picturesque wooded setting on Roanoke Island, in the heart of North Carolina's Outer Banks.

The property has spacious lawns, a small private beach, multiple gardens, and the most amazing sunsets! The owners have built this property with love for than 35 years and recently decided to open it up for others to experience the beauty and tranquility of this area. 


Featuring 3 split levels, the home offers easy separation of activities and privacy. Guests will find the great middle-level living area with classical style furniture and decor, as well as the kitchen and dining area. Brew your morning coffee and enjoy it from the enclosed sunroom overlooking the water, or maybe while taking in the island forested views. The lower-level living space offers a private escape from Westside Inn's more populated areas. It is a great spot to journal or just grab a book and enjoy the peacefulness outside the window overlooking the Sound; or just sit back and relax.

Pauline Sweeney is a registered yoga teacher completing her 200 hour yoga teacher training and 50 hour Yin training from Yogaunion in Bali, Indonesia based on a AshtangaVinyasa Flow led by Ourania, Spyros and Himanshu Bahuguna. She has practiced with Tao Porchon Lynch and Deepak Chopra. She continues to enhance her practice by learning and relearning through her life’s everyday experiences.
