Distance: 13 miles (21km), option to reduce distance with bus
Grading: Intermediate/challenging - there are several rolling hills and you should be comfortable hiking for 21km at a decent walking pace.
Ascent: 740m
Hiking time: 5.5 to 6.5 hours
The details:
Leaving London 8:30am and returning for 7pm. Meet out the front of Burger King near the Gatwick Express entrance in Victoria station at 8:20am and leave the meeting point at 8:30am for the 8:45am train. Please make sure to arrive on time as the group cannot wait for anyone who is late. Train back from Eastbourne at 17:25 returning into London for 19:00.

What to Bring:
• Suitable hiking clothes & hiking footwear (ideally hiking boots). Waterproof jacket, trousers and footwear are recommended
• Water 2 litres
• Packed lunch/picnic

• A good attitude, we will take care of everything else so you can turn up and have a good time on the day.
We will stop at a pub for refreshments at the end of the hike.

Cliffs: DANGER - The cliffs are slowly eroding back and it's recommended that you stay at least 3 metres away from the edge at all times. If you do fall it would almost certainly be fatal.
