7:50 a.m. – Meeting Point & Pick-Up
Meeting at the Turtle Monument in Pelican Bay neighborhood. Our certified naturalist guide will welcome all passengers before beginning the journey to North Seymour Island and Bachas Beach.
8:00 a.m. – Transfer to Itabaca Channel
We will travel by bus for approximately 45 minutes to the Itabaca Channel, where our navigation through the Galápagos Islands begins.
8:45 a.m. – Navigation to North Seymour Island
We board the vessel for a 40-minute journey to North Seymour Island. Along the way, you may spot dolphins, manta rays, mobulas, sea turtles, and seabirds such as petrels.
9:40 a.m. – Guided Walk on North Seymour Island
Dry landing on North Seymour Island, followed by a 2-hour guided walk to observe:
Blue-footed boobies during courtship or caring for their chicks
Frigatebirds displaying their impressive inflated red pouches during nesting season
Unique vegetation such as opuntia cactus and native shrubs
11:30 a.m. – Return to the Boat
After the hike, we will enjoy refreshments onboard before continuing to our next destination.
12:00 p.m. – Navigation to Bachas Beach
We will embark on a short 40-minute ride to Bachas Beach, located on Santa Cruz Island. A wet landing will be made to explore this beautiful white-sand beach.
12:40 p.m. – Snorkeling & Wildlife Observation at Bachas Beach
We will explore the crystal-clear waters of Bachas Beach, ideal for snorkeling. During this activity, you may observe:
Sea turtles feeding near the shore
Marine iguanas swimming in their natural habitat
Flamingos resting in nearby lagoons
Darwin’s finches and other endemic coastal birds
2:00 p.m. – Lunch Onboard
Back on the vessel, we will enjoy a hot lunch prepared by the onboard chef.
2:30 p.m. – Farewell Toast
The captain will offer a farewell toast to celebrate an unforgettable experience in the Galápagos Islands.
3:00 p.m. – Return to Puerto Ayora
We begin our return journey to Puerto Ayora, arriving by bus at approximately 4:30 p.m., depending on ocean conditions.
