Germany's story is one of centuries of cultural exchange, migration, faith, resilience, and identity that extends far beyond the narratives most people know. While World War II and the Holocaust remain essential to understanding the nation's past, Germany has also been shaped by the experiences and contributions of Black communities, Jewish communities, immigrant populations, religious minorities, and global diasporas whose stories continue to influence the country today.

Throughout this immersive experience, participants will explore how history, public spaces, culture, and community shape our understanding of identity, belonging, and human dignity. Through museums, historical landmarks, sacred spaces, cultural districts, local organizations, and guided conversations, you'll discover how different communities have navigated exclusion, resilience, migration, remembrance, and social change across generations.

Participants will engage with the historical and contemporary experiences of African and diasporic communities in Europe, Jewish life before and after the Holocaust, and the many cultures—including Turkish, Middle Eastern, Asian, African, and other immigrant communities—that contribute to modern Germany's vibrant and evolving identity.

This experience goes beyond sightseeing. Through cultural exchanges, local cuisine, workshops, community engagement, and reflective dialogue, you'll build authentic relationships, broaden your global perspective, and gain practical insights into inclusive leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and responsible global citizenship.
