Join us as we tour two great shrines in one day - the Carmelite Shrine in Munster, IN. and the Shrine of Christ's Passion in St. John, IN. Enjoy the peaceful and scenic grounds of the Carmelite Shrine and then pray the Stations of the Cross like never before on the half-mile winding Prayer Trail that depicts the last days of Jesus Christ’s life at the Shrine of Christ's Passion. Forty life-size bronze sculptures in a tranquil setting, complete with beautiful music and amazingly sculptured gardens allow pilgrims to experience the story of the crucifixion and resurrection as never before!

Our first stop of the day will be at the Carmelite Shrine in Munster, IN. We'll celebrate Holy Mass together, have time for prayer, tour the shrine, and enjoy a delicious catered lunch.

The grounds at the Shrine are comprised of the Marian Grotto, the Stations of the Cross (of which the 14th Station, the Grotto of the Lord’s Tomb, deserves special attention), the monastery church (with the miraculous figure of Our Lady of Ludźmierz, Queen of the Polish Highlanders), the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy, and the Highlanders’ Chapel, among others. Nestled among the trees in the quiet of the garden are figures of Polish saints and others associated with Carmel: St. Therese of the Child Jesus (and St. Louis Martin, her father), St. Raphael Kalinowski, St. Maximilian Kolbe, and St. John Paul II.

Stations of the Cross with Fr. Jerome
Guided by Fr. Jerome, we will walk the Stations of the Cross in the footsteps of our Lord at the Shrine of Christ's Passion. After this prayerful meditation, we will have time to tour the other exhibits of the Shrine, including Moses and the 10 Commandments and the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine.

Take some time to visit the amazing gift shop before boarding the bus and returning to St. Mary.

We are a Christian mission, run by faithful Catholics. Through the use of our facilities, ministries, and family and community events, we seek to bring all people to the Heart of Jesus Christ. We welcome people of all Christian faiths to come, visit, pray, and encounter the Heart of Jesus Christ. The mission of Cor Jesu pilgrimages is to honor our Lord and to help console the Heart of Jesus by bring pilgrims to pray and worship at holy sites in the U.S. and abroad. 100% of proceeds from our pilgrimages go to fund our other ministries.

I Had a wonderful experience and the memories will remain with me forever. The arrangements were excellent as was the driver and tour guide and, of course, Fr. Jerome. A very memorable and rewarding religious experience.

Another "five star" pilgrimage with Cor Jesu. I don't know how Libby packs so many amazing experiences within a short amount of time. I always enjoy meeting new people who share a love for our beautiful Catholic faith. Father Jerome's thought provoking homilies during our bus rides is an added bonus. Special thanks to Clyde who kept us safe traveling to and from our destinations.
