About this trip
Join us for an epic adventure through Sicily, Italy! This is an immersive, luxury experience where you will explore the beautiful eastern coast of Sicily and stay in 4 and 5-star hotels. Highlights of this adventure include stunning hikes, cooking class, visit to a chocolatier, wineries, and a visit to Mount Etna (Europe's largest active volcano).
Note: This is a women-only Chicas Abroad adventures, but if you are wanting to travel to Sicily with your husband, boyfriend, partner, father, son, brother, friend, etc., check out the Co-Ed trip with the same itinerary that is offered November 7-14, 2025.

Activity Level - Easy to Moderate
This adventure includes three shortish hikes (2.5-3.5 miles each). We will be walking on cobblestone streets and other uneven ground for several miles each day for our city tours and other explorations, so be sure that you have sturdy shoes and are able to walk several miles each day.
Custom Payment Plans Available
A non-refundable $1000 deposit is due upon booking followed by 6 equal monthly payments of $625 is the default payment plan for this trip (April-Sept). If you'd like to set up a different payment plan, please contact us at [email protected].
Weather
The weather in Sicily in November typically is highs in the 70s during the day, and lows in the 50s at night. Layers are important!
Money & Tipping
All the excursions listed in the itinerary are included. Bring cash/credit cards for purchasing souvenirs, additional snacks/meals, alcoholic drinks, extra activities, and other items. You can either order Euros from your bank at home or use an ATM on arrival in Sicliy to get some cash. Exchanging USD to Euros at the airport or at a bank in Italy is not always easy and doesn't always give the best exchange rates. The best option is to order Euros from your home bank.
All gratuities are included with the exception of those for your Chicas Abroad tour leader. Tipping the Chicas Abroad tour leader is optional and not included in the price of your adventure.

● The Chicas Abroad Tour Leader(s) works diligently to ensure a seamless adventure for you and tips are optional, but customary.
● If you have more than one tour leader on your adventure, gratuities may be given to one tour leader and the team will divide the tips.

What’s not included
- International FlightsGuests must book their own international flights to arrive in Catania (airport code CTA) on November 14 by 3:00pm and depart Catania on November 21 at anytime.
- Travel InsuranceTravel insurance is highly recommend to cover any unforeseen events. Chicas Abroad will provide you with a link to our recommended carrier upon booking, but you may choose any carrier.
- Alcoholic DrinksAlcoholic drinks are at your own expense.
- Tour Leader TipsYour Chicas Abroad tour leader works countless hours before and during the trip to ensure a seamless experience so you can adventure more and worry less! $30-40 per day is typical and much appreciated
- Personal PurchaseSouvenirs and other personal purchases are not included.

All rooms are double-occupancy (with 2 twin beds). If you'd like your own room, there is an option for a single supplement for an additional $955.
A $1000 non-refundable deposit due at booking. The remainder is due in 6 monthly payments of $625 (April-September). Ask us about a modified payment plan to fit your budget; we are happy to make any accommodations as long as it's paid in full by September 7, 2025.

Itinerary
Arrive at the Catania airport (CTA) on November 14th by 3:00pm. A private transfer is provided from the Catania airport to our accommodations in Ragusa.
Tonight we will enjoy a welcome dinner to get to know the group that you’ll be adventuring with over the next week.
Accommodation: Ragusa 5-star hotel, Eremo della Giubiliana (or similar)
