Travel

Everyone will be leaving out of Newark airport for their 7pm flight and  arriving in Aguadilla airport around 11:57pm. I suggest getting your car rental and heading to the hotel (about 25 mins away) where you will be greeted by the hotel staff and checked into your rooms. Get a goodnight and be ready to get after it in the morning!

Gozlandia Falls/Art Walk

Start the day off with a morning Jiu Jitsu session. After, we all head to Gozalandia Waterfalls  in San Sebastian where we will be cliff jumping, rope swinging, and cooling off in the natural springs! There is a great little restaurant with all Puerto Rican favorites and delicious parcha mojitos.  We will return to Rincon later afternoon for an optional training session or watch sunset at the lighthouse before heading into town for art walk where there live music, restaurant, bars, and street vendors selling lots of local art, jewelry, etc.

Surf/Pig Roast

Opening the day with an 8am surf session. Everyone will have a board and we will have several instructors for the group. I would suggest grabbing a late breakfast and recharging.  The evening will include a traditional pig roast on a beach side property where we will host a sunset open mat and have an optional ice bath.

All good things come to an end

We will start the day with a morning Jiu Jitsu session. Everyone will then be asked to check out the hotel room by 1pm. You will still have access to the hotel pool and amenities and your bags will be kept in a safe place. We will all get together around 5pm to do a hike at the Domes trails and explore the Spanish Wall which was an old railroad line along the shore. We will finish our hike at El Faro (the lighthouse) where there is a great bar to watch sunset and if we are lucky even see humpback whales that come here that time of year to give birth to their young. We will cap off the trip with a group dinner at Belo Horizonte which is a Brazilian restaurant with a delicious pichana steak dinner and lots of other traditional favorites. Everyone will then get their bags and head to the airport for their 1am flight.
