You? You wake up in an open-air treehouse with jungle mist in your hair, flow through sunrise yoga in a bamboo dome, and spend the afternoon on a boat in Samaná Bay while humpback whales sing beneath your feet. Actual whales. Actually singing. That’s the January you get to choose.

We’re bringing it to the place where it all began: Samaná, the wellspring of DDY Travels, where we’ll hold a container for magic, renewal, and the kind of laughter that echoes through a jungle canopy.

Every January, thousands of humpbacks return to this bay to sing, birth, and be loud about it. Sound familiar? The whales are the sirens. So are we. So are you.

Four nights in the canopy of a hidden Caribbean jungle, where rope bridges replace hallways and birdsong replaces your alarm. We trade wifi for whale song, on purpose.

We open with fire. We practice at sunrise in the open-air jungle dome, sit in cacao ceremony under the trees, fly the highest-rated zipline in the Dominican Republic, and close with a water ceremony at the ocean’s edge — timed to the first whale song of the season. Every meal is included, along with round-trip transport from SDQ and slow afternoons on a beach the locals keep for themselves.
